The biggest problem is indeed with the roster we’ve built. And also how they are coached. And also how little passion they show on the pitch. Otherwise we are fine.
Whatever the decision on the offside our alignment across the back is terrible. We are poor at pushing up as a unit and holding a consistent offside line. That is on the coach first for not building good habits. But also on the players, who should know better.
Don’t blame Vela - if Insua is going to walk around and leave him all alone he should shoot. That lack of effort is unacceptable.
Yes. And Klinsmann has seemed to be more athletic, confident and aggressive so far. Small sample size though.
I think GBS is our after this, and it’s the right call, but I also can’t help but feel for the guy. Like the last 3 coaches, he has been saddled with a terrible roster due to our terrible managing of the salary cap. Forget the bust of a DP striker, there’s No backup for the striker. How?? Klejstan played like his life depending on it, but 90 mins?? outside backs have been garbage for years. Anyway, we all know this. I’m just preaching to the choir.
Yes. And the eye test so far, at least in my opinion, is that Klinnsman will pan out slightly better than Bingham. Small sample size so far as stats go to back that up however. At this point.
