Previous Game 3-1 Current Position 1st in West 1st in League 11-1-3 Galaxy Injury Report (As of 07/09/10) OUT - Mike Magee (Bilateral Sports Hernia – Surgery) DOUBTFUL - None QUESTIONABLE - Dema Kovalenko (Right Hamstring – Strain), PROBABLE - None Predicted Lineup --------------------- Buddle --------- Bowen -------------------- ---------- Alex -------------- Juninho ------------ Stephens ------- ------------------------------ Birchall ---------------------------- ----- Dunivant ------- Berhalter ------ Leonardo ------- Franklin ----- ------------------------------ Ricketts ----------------------------
My only question in that lineup is Alex. Is there anyone else that can fill in over there? I still see him struggling mightily - and he has a tendency to get rash and draw yellow cards. Maybe we can get a safe half out of him and sub in Eddie Lewis?

Bowen seems to like to drift out into wide positions, so why not give him some minutes at right wing, and throw Stephens out left, and let Gordon play up top. Really, the less we fuss with things the better. I really don't like Alex, but we don't really have better options at the moment. I guess we could throw Juninho out left (in Football Manager, it says he plays left wing as well as centrally), but who would we slot in centrally if Dema is still not 90 minutes fit? I think that starting Alex is probably the best option at the moment.
Agreed. Not to take anything away from Berhalter (who is quietly having a solid season) but the less LA has to depend on him starting the better. Hopefully the injury does not create a dip in form for Leonardo, much like it did for Kyle Veris a few seasons ago.
how did leonardo do the other night? i wasn't home to catch the stream so i couldn't see him, and i was thinking it was a good thing he was in there before the game. but then we gave up two goals as well .... was he at fault for anything?
Revs-LA game, brought to you by Toyota: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43MLpdniz_o"]YouTube- Toyota - It's a Trap![/ame] I say we got this - sh*t turf = crazy weird goals.
I don't think Bowen is good enough defensively, or will track back enough to play in our midfield, Arenas has been pretty demanding that our mids play both ways this year...
I would not be surprised to see Franklin start at right mid, with AJ as right back and Stephens on the left.
Help! Out of the country...MatchDay is apparently restricted outside of the US...where can i watch online???
Exactly what I was thinking. We're on the road and Bruce likes to grind out results on the road. Franklin and AJ provide great defensive cover and experience. Alex is too raw. Even without LD this lineup looks great.
Not sure that I agree with this. I dont think Alex starts tonight because of the heavy minutes played mid-week. He was basically our only offense most of the game. Otherwise, without LD in the game, I think he would certainly get the nod over playing both AJ and Sean (which I happen to be a big fan of BTW).
That's three predicted lineups in a row. Am I that good, or is Bruce just THAT predictable???
