The midfielders edition of this poll. This poll assumes Guti is gone, not because I have any evidence that is the case, but the rumor's do seem to have him signging in Chile. I see this group as Kinda at 10, Busio at 6 or 8, Walter as unproven in MLS but I do hope starting at 6 or 8, Roger and Ilie as very nice depth, short term injury options, and then a bunch of young guys I have great hopes for. Overall, I think we are stronger in mid than anyplace else, starters through squad.
I would rate all the midfield positions at either the very bottom of the elite category or at or near the top of the average quality, but when you put all three on the same field, I am hoping they will be an elite midfield group.
I think that giving Busio the 10 shirt means something, and what it means, to me, is that our midfield trio will be Busio, Kinda and Walter
