Bravo sure paid us back for trading him. We used to call it "The Bravo Curse"

Great player. Was a free agent. Exactly someone we could have used for our attacking mid position.

Let's face it. The prospect of playing with Messi is a pretty big carrot. The prospect of playing with Preston Judd - maybe not as much.

I think Valderamma and Messi are the 2 best ever in MLS. BUT Valderamma made very average players look elite. Roy Lassiter would have never had 26 goals in a season without Pibe.

He made Diallo, Serna, and Spencer look elite too.

I’m anticipating all the soccer movies or documentaries they will start making in Hollywood after he arrives.
    ”Will Ferrell visits Giroud’s house”
    “Giroud visits Will Ferrell’s house”
    “Kicking & Screaming 2”

Do Bale and Giroud get angry? They seem too good-looking to ever get angry.
I can’t recall ever seeing them look angry.

2007 was one of the best years for movies since the 70s heyday before the studios took back control from the auteurs after Star Wars crushed Sorcerer at the box office in 1977 and started pumping out blockbuster crap for the mainstream again... maybe the best year for cinematography with Robert Elswit winning as Roger Deakins split the vote being nominated twice

No Country For Old Men (Deakins)
    There Will Be Blood (Elswit)
The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford (Deakins)
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
    Gone Baby Gone
    Michael Clayton

Others from that year: Eastern Promises, Into the Wild, I'm Not There, Ratatouille, Atonement, La Vie en Rose, Sweeney Todd, Juno

Also crazy that the best three films that year were all westerns, a genre that has almost completely died off since 1980, but so many of the best westerns are from recent years after the once formulaic genre died off (others include Ravenous, Hell or High Water, Django Unchained, Buster Scruggs, Bone Tomahawk, Meek's Cutoff, Revenant, Wind River, Sicario, Old Henry, Appaloosa, Slow West, The Proposition etc. plus some television shows like Westworld S1 and even two video games in the Red Dead Redemption series)... not sure what led to the revitalization of the genre but I'll give credit to one of my favorites, Dead Man by Jim Jarmusch in 1995 (okay it was probably 1992's Unforgiven or that Costner one from two years prior)...

TKO who owns UFC and WWE should buy and invest in an MLS Club.

Didn’t the WWE owners invest in the XFL/USFL/UFL?

No, Vince McMahon is no longer the owner of the WWE at all, he sold all his stock shares etc. It is 100% Owned by TKO and ran by Paul 'Triple H' Levesque and Nick Khan.

WWE is THRIVING right now money wise billions and billions of dollars. 21 Billion dollars to be exact.

Wrestlemania this past month had a 38 million dollar gate.

Lionel Messi is playing in a place Thierry, Kaka, Beckham and many others refused to play, New England and more specifically Gillette Stadium. So is Busquets and Suarez is starting on the bench today.

They are all that afraid of playing on turf?

    How bad can it be?
