I’m glad 5th is possible for Roma’s sake. But in general it’s pretty stupid that countries can have 25% of their league or more playing in Champions League at the same time.

Do we have clarification yet on whether 6 teams will be allowed? If Roma or Atalanta were to win the EL but finish outside the top 5....where are we?

I was just gong to ask the same thing.

If the EL champion wins, they are guaranteed a spot in the CL.

There is no cap anymore from what I understand. I saw one mad scenario where a country could have as many as 10 teams playing in Europe across all three competitions under the right circumstances. Right now it’s looking like possibly 8 will play from Italy next season.

The way it's looking, hypothetically, almost 1/2 of the league can be involved in European competition next season.

There are already a couple federations with eight teams this year.

Verona scores in the 93rd minute to beat Udinese 1-0!

Inter get their second star before Milan. Maldini in shambles.

Theo's walk of shame after being sent off gave some major Zidane 2006 WC final vibes

Speaking of Maldini, I saw Daniel score an incredible goal yesterday for Monza and he also had a killer shot in the last minute that hit the post and skimmed across the goalmouth.

He only needs like 25 more goals to go and he will have surpassed his dad's 29 total goals over his 25 year career.

I think he will surpass Paolo soon.

    Scamacca with another banger.

Another Roma youth that was sold for peanuts.

I'm also watching La Dea vs. La Viola!

    Gianluca Scamacca rovesciata was awesome!

Does anyone know why they are saving the soccer balls?

They auction the balls off after games and the money usually goes to a charity.

They auction the balls for every goal just at the Coppa Italia or during the Serie A games as well?

Also for Serie A (but not every game). I believe they're in the auction app called "Socios," which is not available in the US.

If they've had that for the shoe Totti used to kick Ballotteli in his Inter days, I would've bid for that.

Juve-Milan was the definition of a waste of everybody's time. What an awful game.

So even just getting to the final vs Atalanta basically guarantees CL no matter what for both sides. Unless either fall to 7th which looks unlikely.

And all of a sudden I'm rooting for Atalanta to make the final even more.

Motta will be the new coach of Juventus next season. I’m sure many key players will leave too.

Bologna qualifying for CL is a disaster for Serie A.

Conte to Napoli and Sarri to Fiorentina rumored as well. Next season is shaping up to be a really good one.

Inter will be big favorites but they also have a pretty old team. Average age is almost 30.

Since losing the derby, Lazio have won 4 on the bounce and have a very winnable run in. Disturbs me greatly that they're back in the mix for a CL place......and it's in no small part all thanks to our efforts in Europe last few years. Cnuts.
