Yea, I've heard the rumors about Skorupski but my point is it's nothing new we have heard the same about others. LS isn't the first and won't be the last athlete to party too much.

I used Bruno as the most recent example. Not only did he wreck his car a few years ago in the early hours of the morning after partying all night but the police have been called to his house for disturbing the peace a couple of times this year.

It just seems to me Mongo had a different standard for LS as an excuse to chase a diamond in the rough so he could prove what a genius he was.

You're reading too much into it. Bruno was sent back to Brazil. He was done but thats football, unique circumstances opened up a path and he took it. If an offer had came in for him that was decent at the time he would have been sold to. I remember it was a preseason article when a random coach said one player had to be sold for attitude problems and liking a drink too much. He didnt name the name but it was right after he was sold and the intention were obvious. The description sounds Polish to me ;)

ACM very fortunate to walk away with any points in that match.

Udinese starting to put out a good line up. De Paul just got a second yellow. A little harsh but he was acting a hot head for a few mins previous and asking for it.

Napoli looking pretty poor against Parma. 30 minutes of Parma attacking. Lucky to be up 1-0.

    Edit: Deflection makes it 2-0.

I really like De Paul but his insistent diving when anyone gets near him is annoying and really doesn't help his team. A shame because he's a fantastic talent.

A bit of history, although he wasn’t really an avid fan, Lazio was Mussolini’s favorite team. Maybe because Roma didn’t come around until 1928.

They say though that because of Benito’s influence , he was the main protagonist behind Roma winning the Serie A scudetto of 1941-1942. He wanted Roma to be the greatest city in Europe at the height of the war and he knew everyone loved soccer and by having a winning team , everyone would see how great Rome was so he made sure they would win.

This coupled with Rome, Italy being originally chosen as the site of the 1942 World's Fair which Benito Mussolini planned to open to celebrate twenty years of Fascism. It was going to be held in the newer area of Rome with the letters EUR standing for Esposizione Universale Roma. It was then cancelled because of the war.

It was interesting how they went from being almost as bad financially as us to dropping 80 million on a player in only a span of a couple years.

Koulibaly tested postive for covid. I guess that means no Napoli game this weekend.

I think the idea that footballers are done once they hit 30 is outdated. Better physio therapy & nutrition definitely plays a part but also we see in MMA that fighter's are in their prime around 32-36 depending on the accumulative damage they took their career.

Napoli without Manolas, Koulibaly, Ghoulam, and Mertens. In the next two weeks they play:

    A - Atalanta Cup
    H - Juventus
    A - Granada Europa
    A - Atalanta

Good chance to create some distance between us and 5/6th place.

Saba + Rudi, the last competent combo to run this team, by miles, kilometers and leagues above the rest.

Juventus have ********ed up with their last 2 coach hires. Sarri & Pirlo.
They will probably bring back Allegri for next year, who looks like no team wants around europe.

I could also see Zidane there if Pirlo survives the full season.
