I hope the season is canceled. Football/sport without fans is pointless.

It's also really bad for the athletes as well. They will likely have to quarantine themselves from their families if leagues start up soon.

Talk of a Pjanic - Arthur swap. That would actually be a pretty good deal for Juve. Arthur will be a better fit for Sarri imo and is 7 years younger.

Barca’s board is going to run them into the ground at this rate.

German Bundesliga is about to restart next week (got the green light by government yesterday) even though Köln and Gladbach had players and staff that tested positive last weekend.

Cannavaro meh, he wasn’t that good in the league, Samuel should be in his place. Also Seedorf has to be there.

    The rest makes sense.

He got punked by Mueller of all people. Its easy to be "hard" when refs give you free reign to tackle however you please.

He had sort of a chip but I don't blame Balotelli too much. The media made him out to be something he wasn't. They hyped him up way too much and he couldn't live up to the hype forever. From 2012 to around 2014 though he was among the b better Italian strikers. They didn't make a big deal out of other forwards as much they did with him but they were quick to judge and blame him for everything.

Mario drank that hype up. If he kept his head down and focused on working the 18 yard box instead of thinking he was a number 9 slash 10 slash I'll just walk around and dive for a free kick whenever I feel like it he would have been once of his generations best strikers. Talent doesn't matter if you're lazy with a poor attitude. I called it 8 years ago when the hype train was full steam ahead. He would be irrelevant before 30. An average of 1 goal every 5 games from open play. The writing was on the wall.

His career is hardly surprising given his attitude. He was often unfairly painted as an outright bad guy in his youth but he didn’t do himself any favors either.

Considering his talent he wasted his career and I honestly don’t doubt it if Balotelli has a disrespectful attitude in the NT. It means very little coming from a career criminal like him Chiellini though.

In recent times, the only other Italian offensive player who suffered a similar bad boy fate was maybe Cassano. He merited that role though but he at least he was a very talented striker. He could have been in my opinion on par with Baggio, Totti , Delpiero , Mancini and Zola in regards to how true #10’s are judged. His head on the other hand , was just too much for his coaches.

I also think Baggio also got the short end of the stick. I had neve really read how he was a burden or disruptive other than what I saw from his coaches like Sacchi Lippi (twice) and Capello who wouldn't didn’t want him to be the main guy. Ullivieri said once that Baggio would tell him off but other than that, I hadn't heard or read much in regards to his attitude. One thing I did hear from all of Baggio's managers was that they all praised and revered him as a top player.

So bad ass. There's a reason Paolo is universally loved and respected.

What do you guys think about Maldini’s comments about Ragnick?

IMO it’s completely ridiculous, Ragnick has the right to ask for whatever he wants to take the job. Milan are the ones recruiting him and if he’d rather stay in his job unless he’s guaranteed certain powers that’s completely within his right. If Ragnick is happy in his current job it’s up to Milan to convince him, if Maldini should be criticising anyone it should be his own bosses.

From what I picked up on it, Maldini is annoyed that he publicly talked about it with details. From a professional POV, you keep quiet as there are the other people's lives and contracts involved right now and a season to finish if possible. Maldini was aiming his anger at that.
