Deserving a title is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is winning it. This talk of 'deserving' reminds me of the last world cup and 2010 in general when Inter won the CL and everybody and their uncle said Barcelona deserved to have won 3 CLs in a row.

Hummels lost already very unluckily the CL final in 2013 and the German Cup final in 2014. That and the reasons others have already stated.

I am not disputing that Germany deserve this title. Guys like Lahm, Basti, Kroos, Neuer, Muller and Hummels fully deserve it. Hell even some injured players like Reus deserve this title more than their Argentina counterparts. But there are Argentine players who deserve this just as much. The reason why they are 'bland' is because Allejandro Sabella has had to deploy his tactics to bring the best out of the players who lack the same level of talent. That 'bland' approach is what brings them to the final today. Whoever wins, good for them. Ultimately skill, hard work, intelligence, preparation and tactical guile will trump over entitlement.

Huh? Hate to admit it but the better team won even though this Arg performance was better than the one from 1990.

Congratulations to German NT. Argentines had a good plan, but no finisher. Why Muller is so horrible, complaining every call?

He's right though. The Robbery influence has taken hold. And I say this as someone who loves Müller's game and what he's done for the NT.

I see it more as more of Muller's personality. He gets very involved. Pepe was stupid for what he did.

Let's put it this way. I would like to see more dignified Muller, say Kroos like Muller.

I think it was more out of frustration at the club's transfer strategy. I mean Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba are repeatedly linked to transfers and they are the backbone of this team. They didn't get Alexis Sanchez who was touted to help this team migrate from a back 3 to a 4-3-3. To complete in the CL every year they needed to spend about 30M on one proven winner who would likely ask for 8M a year. Juventus is completely and absolutely capable of doing that. All they have to do is show up in the 1/4 final and they'd be taking home more money than ANY other team in the CL.

This club owes Anto Conte a lot. They should have been poised to dominate Serie A and make perennial appearances in the knockout rounds with him and that additional stadium revenue. Instead of the idiot Marotta leaving, we see the legend leaving. Bizarre....very bizarre. I feel bad for Juve fans.

I hope I never see Muller become like Kroos. Muller plays with a lot of heart and give his all with the I can do more attitude. He ran the most at the world cup.

Muller gives is all puts a lot of energy and opponents try to find ways (even illegal) to stop him

Kroos has the non challant attitude of "Ive done all i can, Shit happens" .

I was surprised to see how often Mueller was sitting on his arse complaining, has he always been this soft?

He also has the most punchable face in world football.

^^Thats because he is annoying to play against. Situations where most players would have given up Muller would still be chasing lost causes.

It was from such scenarios That was how he caught Pepe on the ball it was the frustration that got Pepe the red card.

He with Robben are some of the most passionate attackers who would always give 110% on the field

I do agree, he works really hard and while he looks silly and not at all like a footballer, his positional play is second to none. But my god he is annoying.

    ^^^^^^^^

same reasons that so many here love KG. Local guy, runs like a mad man and is very effective (less so with scoring goals, and more so with shutting down the opposition). I'm a big fan of the unheralded types; I was always a big admirer of Deschamps for example.
