All things considered, we got shafted by losing Radja for Zani-boy and 40mil or however much they paid us. It was the beginning of the end for the Roma project and Zaniolo is yet another great talent that got hit by the Trigoria curse on top of everything else, costing us tens of millions euros. All of our greatest signings eventually get the ACL thing happen to them and become useless afterwards, heppened to Strootman, Zaniolo and Spina, and many others too, but that's a shit ton of potential lost to our never-ending medical and training filed inaptitudes.
His best quality was his ability to change direction at full speed with the ball. After he blew out his knee that part of his game is gone. I think there’s still hope if he changes to more of a central midfielder rather than out wide. That’s where he started at Roma and looked pretty good there. Unfortunately though he’s not going to get that time at Aston Villa or any team competing for any thing relevant to make that transition.
That's just straight up bs. Regardless of how it ended here and his career ends up turning out, he was giving flashes of Kaka before his knees blew up. Not recognizing his special talent is nothing more than thinking being a hater/edgy is cool.
You have poor memory. Zaniolo pre injury had seasoned pros bouncing off him. The final 2 years had him getting hacked and rugby tackled at least 2 to 3 times a game while refs turned a blind eye.
Italy is currently #1 in 23/24 club coefficient ranking which would mean that the fifth place in the league also gets to play in the new CL.
Zaniolo was an animal before he busted his knees. He came back from his first injury and looked as good as he ever was, it even looked to me like he had possibly gained an extra half yard of pace. That didnt last long of course. His second injury was a massive blow however and he has been a shadow of his former self since, with only the very occasional hint of his former qualities.
Maybe that was the case , if it was Mourinho UECL trophy not Roma trophy Roma trophy remains 0 for the last 15 years
Is WONMIN the abbreviated name of some sort of Portuguese Clown Academy sponsored by Murinho, because otherwise it makes no sense?
🔴⚫️ Bayer Leverkusen win 4-0 and it’s 25 games unbeaten! 🇳🇬 Boniface — 16 goals, 8 assists.🇩🇪 Wirtz — 8 goals, 12 assists. 🇪🇸 Grimaldo — 9 goals, 7 assists.🇳🇱 Frimpong — 7 goals, 10 assists.🏟️ 25 games🟢 22 wins🟰 3 draws🔴 0 defeats⚽️ 81 goals scored⛔️ 18 goals… pic.twitter.com/scsYhOULGa— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) December 20, 2023 Do you know who is the latest manager to beat this Bayer Leverkusen super team ? Jose Mourinho Mourinho is still world class manager , but you can't expect Michael Schumacher to win the race if you gave him a fiat instead of Ferrari, football is the same thing see how Pep is struggling in EPL ( only 1 win in the last 6 games ) just because KDB is out, imagine if it was half of his first teamer , he would be found as a massive fraud. make no mistake , if it was Mourinho who only has 1 win in the last 6 games everyone of you would post #joseout already
Man, this WONMIN Clown University also has a stellar class in mental gymnastics. Good luck in the Special One Olympics.
The second iteration of the Super League seems to have died faster than the first. Napoli are the only ones so far that have said they would be interested in joining. Lol. Considering Spanish and Italian teams are the only the ones who really seemed that interested in it to begin with, it wouldn’t shock me in next 10 years you see a merged Spanish and Italian league. May be throw the Portuguese in there as well. That’s the closest you’re going to get to compete with England money wise.
How is Ten Hag losing 50% of the game by December and crashed out of ucl yet still not under any threat of sacking after spending 400m with United ? Not to mention they are on -5 goals difference. The attack was toothless , the defence was like a prostitute Imagine if this was Mourinho Manchester United have played 26 games this season. They've lost 13 of 'em. That's half. something about if he won the fa cup his contract would’ve automatically renewed (and levy already wanted him out at the end of the season)
They had already been eliminated from the FA Cup. It was a few days before the Carabao Cup Final. Since it was against City, likely would have lost it. Their Results were not that good and were boring. I heard that the players had stipulations in their contract for bonus money if they won a trophy. Their Owner wanted to get out of that. Still though. Should have let him contest it.
So sad! RIP Kaiser Franz! Franz Beckenbauer, who won the World Cup both as player and coach for Germany, has died at 78 This was the picture that appeared on the first soccer corner magazine I ever purchased!
