Thing is he's the closest we've come to seeing someone challenge Messi. These money teams don't do anything but hold everyone back in mediocrity
This mofo used to be up at 3am playing call of duty, eating garbage and posting on his instagram stories like a teenager He just didnt have it in him to do anymore. He often comes to preseason with a bigger pot belly than Higuain and then spends the first 6 months of the season working it off. To then get "injured" for the birthday parties he attends every year in Brazil when the ko rounds of the champions league come around. A total joker.
nah this is his last chance to win something, poor guy has been scoring 30+ goals a season and the stupid spuds still refuse to win anything. With the way the EPL is looking, they might drift even further down the table without him
Tottenham are going to be a fun team this year. Probably have completed more passes today than Conte’s team did all last season.

League Cup has been a surprisingly good competition for its first year. Much better than CONCACAF CL or the Open Cup.
It was a very exciting tournament but I wonder if it was fixed or not? Miami only won on pk's and hardly dominated. Unless they win 10 of their next 12 league games, there is a very good chance they will be among the worst teams in MLS. Makes one wonder if relegation promotion were in place, would Messi Alba and Busquets have signed on initially? I have my doubts. Now back to reality. Barring a miracle, for this year anyway, Inter Miami will most likely get the Wooden Spoon or what is the award for the last place team in MLS.
How do you figure they need a miracle to not finish last when they're only 1 point back of the 2 teams ahead of them, and have games in hand as well?
You are right and I overstated. What I mostly meant was Miami are currently 12 points behind DC United who have the last playoff spot available in the East which is what everybody who follows MLS knows and cares about. They have 12 regular season games remaining, 6 at home and 6 on the road. Miami will have to win the rest or the majority of their games and everyone has to lose. It’s a safe to say, Miami will end up out of the playoffs.
This whole thing is rigged for Messi to win. In 109 years of the US Open Cup play, no one until now ever noticed or cared about the tournament. I recall many friends and relatives playing many f these Open Cup games for their amateur pub teams with no maybe 100 people in attendance. Most of the fans were usually only the players' families and friends.
No those were good but there were two goals from Cincinnati called back. There is no way a ref or a Var could have determined both of them. The one from Yuya Kubo was completely legitimate. Cincy should have also been awarded a pk and they weren't. Of course, they are setting everything up for Mess and his pals to win one or more a trophies in his first year and and it's becoming more than obvious.
For me, he is the most overrated player ever. I don't know MLS, but the World Cup was rigged for him. The Qataris and PSG did their work for him. And wanted him to win. https://psgtalk.com/2022/10/qatar-s...country-is-rooting-for-psg-star-at-world-cup/
Miami scored his first MLS goal against NYRB! Miami are now in 14th place and 11 points shy of a playoff birth and 11 games left to play! Lionel Messi’s MLS debut ends as every one of his games on our shores. Lionel crafting crevices of space that no one else can imagine to score his 11th goal in 9 Inter Miami matches. Don’t question it. Just drink it in 🐐🇦🇷🇺🇸pic.twitter.com/0rcRJWSexH— roger bennett (@rogbennett) August 27, 2023
The football quality is not dissimilar to a summer training friendly match in Europe. I'd even go out and say it's slower. Messi had chosen the slowest playing speed possible in his FIFA simulation there and is enjoying 3 secodns of thinking time with each touch of the ball.
