I dont read fb articles. The article I read was Turkish if I remember correctly. It had nothing to do with this and was comparing the rise of incidents in this short period v the number during decades previously. Heart issues have always been around but just look across Europe alone this year. Its a strange time we live in when we cant even come to agreement that something isnt quite right with all of this.
As I thought, the likes of you and Andreas are only aware of the high profile incidents that have been happening. Go look up the minor incidents of players having sudden breathing issues and have to be taken off the field. Its happening way to often to be just a coincidence this season and my whole point was, this should not be brushed away as definitely not being the cause. Why are you guys so afraid to acknowledge this "might" be an issue.
The opposition, or maybe consternation is a better word, for the vaccine is not something you have to look hard to find. It's a bit disingenuous to imply it's not represented in the media, which in 2021, includes the traditional media like radio and cable news outlets as well as YouTube and Facebook. Lobbies couldn't be happier than they are now that they don't have to navigate the payroll of a major media outlet to have their side represented.
Whatever the cause or whether or not there's an increase in myocarditis, it's out there now. Whether you think it's some combination of vaccines, covid, the PED's we don't talk about, cardiac arrest in people at the pinnacle of fitness is alarming and should be addressed. How do you address it? Shorter games, more subs?
The fix is pretty straightforward if the main interests are player health and high quality product. The issues stopping these fixes ever being taken serious is of course money. Everyone wants their piece of the pie, sponsors willing to pay so they continue to make up nonsense competitions and grab the money. But when you have less of something, it becomes more valuable as a whole. Something greedy people cant see. We've gone in our lifetimes from having one game a week and an odd European game to 2 games regularly a week and now almost 3 games a week. The quality also goes up of the actual football when you reduce the games, better recovery, more time for practise of tactics, more quality viewing when you look forward to the game. Football is so saturated right now its losing its appeal. Reduce leagues to 18 teams Strip away all worthless domestic cup comp like the excess ones in England. Makes the FA cup more prestigious again. Shut down the conference garbage cup tomorrow. Its essentially an extension of the europa league. What difference is there generally between a team finishing 5 or 6th in the league than 7th. Return to knock out competition for Champions League and Europa League and do away with all league games formatting within these cups. Time we see more random teams winning titles and that can be done by catching a good team out over 2 legs but not a 6 game league format that acts as a safety nets and almost guarantees their progress. Move the euros back to 16 teams. Make all these international confederation tournaments be played every 2 years at the same time so all players have a rest the year before and after the world cup. African cup of nations can be done with its stupid formatting. Ditch the equally pointless Confederations Cup the year before the world cup. Screen the players every week or 2nd week at least for any changes if that still isnt being done.
When you come out with insane numbers like 6000% (which is the same as the fake news I quoted whether you read it in Turkish or not) it is hard to come to an agreement... Not much more to be said about it with very little reputable information.
Yeah, I agree for the most part. Conference league is especially worthless. Clubs in Europa league barely break even with that competition's revenue. Conference league has to be a burden. Nobody missed the Intertoto Cup. Idk why it was resurrected. I also think something needs to be done that makes the day to day training less strenuous. Looser substitution rules could help with that problem. Obviously this profession is a strain on the players' hearts. Astori died in his sleep. Nouri was 18 when he collapsed with neither of them diagnosed with any condition beforehand. It seems like something they're developing, and the wear and tear FIFA schedule should certainly be under scrutiny.
DiMarzio claiming that Haaland’s preferred move is to Real Madrid. A trident of Haaland, Mbappe and Vinicius would be borderline cheating.
I also doubt either player would be able to come close to Sebastian Giovinco’s 83 goals in 142 games at TFC ...
