Touchdown Jesus will be watching over the Fighting Irish this Saturday night. And if you Penn State wankers are lucky he'll watch over JoePa and his graham cracker hips.

The funny thing is, there is no way Jesus looked like that. It is really Touchdown Rasputin.

Was there ever a game more deserving of the title "Stealing a Defeat from the Grasp of Victory"?

    Pathetic!

    Repped for the Stadium shot.

You going? I'm going up tomorrow night and will start touring the tailgates at 11a. If my connection comes through I'll have some awesome pictures to share on Monday. **fingers crossed**

Be careful of the PSU talk as there are several haters in the house, though SoccerPrime is for the good guys.

You know what's neat about PSU? How Dave is the only person that "hates" them, all the while fake rooting for his team, Temple. And I can wholeheartedly say good luck Temple football, not dying. I think my flag football team can beat Temple, even at tackle football

Dave's not alone in his hate, he's just more expressive.

I agree it isn't that tough with the addition of the Irish.:)

    Go SUNY!!!

The Temple game at the Linc is a favor to TU Head coach and former PSU player Al Golden and their Athletic Dept. The entire arrangement is like a home game for PSU...

Philly has the largest concentration of PSU Alumni in the country and the Owls have exclusive ticket rights. So I paid for three games to get PSU. The financial upside for TU is huge, but probably not as big as if they came to Happy Valley, where they would get $350-400k from PSU. The Lion's first opponent FIU got 500 large for the 59-0 spanking. I bet AppState got close to the same for their Michigan upset. (Nice consolation.)

I understand the money aspect and its necessity but from a competition standpoint its just silly. I hate Penn State and love Temple and I still think it's silly to have that game on the schedule just to get creamed. There's a lot of money issues for a sport where the kids don't get paid.

Totally agree*. PSU has to have a minimum of seven home games each year in order to fund everything else. The NCAA/Gestapo is really a twisted organization and the kids are the ones who suffer.

*Unless you play for MIA-FL, Oklahoma, Spurrier or Fl State and then your clothes & women are paid for. (Not coincidentally, these schools will accept virtually anyone academically.)

Does anyone think Morelli will ever be a NFL qb? I don't think so.
