Bremen has been keeping up with Leipzig all day, despite trailing 1-0 for most of the 2nd half, and they just tied it up 1-1 in the 75th minute with a golazo from Njinmah.

Darmstadt is going out of their way to get a point in their last match before the winter break. 3-3 at Hoffenheim with only stoppage time remaining.

Barca has worse camera angles than Cincinnati but it was good enough to overturn an offside decision.

Aston Villa just brought on Jhon Durán late in the match to try and get a goal and the win against Sheffield United.

About 10 minutes after subbing in, Duran nearly gets a red card (his elbow busted open a Sheffield player) and while Sheffield is playing with 10 they score to go up 1-0 in the 87th minute.

Aston Villa would have moved to 1st with a win, but instead will stay in 3rd and will probably be rooting for a draw between Liverpool and Arsenal this weekend.

Wolves and Chelsea are being ridiculous in the last match before Christmas. Wolves scored in the 51st to go up 1-0. 11 minutes of stoppage time have been given with Wolves scoring at 90+3 and Chelsea hitting back at 90+6 to cut it to 2-1. Still a few minutes left with Chelsea pushing forward.

Blood Money United got stomped at home by Nottingham Forest, not exactly the start of the day anyone expected.

Bournemouth draws their first penalty in 66 games/21 months, and they convert to go up 2-0 on Fulham.

Sheffield United has tied it up 1-1 in their home pillow fight against Luton Town.

Sheffield and Luton have gone crazy. It was 1-0 Luton Town at the half. Sheffield scored in the 61st and 69th minutes to go up 2-1. Luton has now struck back and forced an own goal to tie it 2-2 in the 77th minute.

Bournemouth wins 3-0 over Fulham. Bournemouth had 6 points from their first 11 matches, but have 19 from their last 7 with the only non win being a draw against 3rd place Aston Villa.

Luton Town wins 3-2 at Sheffield United to put themselves 1 point behind Everton and 2 behind Nottingham Forest, while being in the last relegation spot.

Aston Villa has blown a 2-0 halftime lead at Manchester United. According to the announcers, ManU has never lost at home on Boxing Day. It's their fault for jinxing it.

Well it took me 10 seconds to debunk that.

    26th December 1973: Manchester United 1 - 2 Sheffield United.

Were they doing that thing where Premier League TV announcers pretend that history started with the founding of the Premier League?

I thought history started with Seattle Sounders.

Well, since the Sounders were founded in 1973 ….. technically still right.

Jack Harrison does his best Frank Lampard impression and pops up in the box. 1-0 Everton.

Minutes later he nearly gets a second. Good save Ederson.
