Anorthosis aren't perhaps as weak a team of no-hopers as one might expect. They've a strong Georgian contingent, with player-manager Temuri Ketsbaia having attracted several of his compatriots, including Georgi Kinkladze. See

I'm surprised Georgia haven't done better than they have at international football; they've produced some fantastic individual players over the years, even in recent times, but their results as an independent nation have been mediocre.

TNS wants the club to move to Oswestry - plans for a 3-thousand ground and Oswestry Town went bust a couple of years ago as well - so they reckon space for a football team/catchment area/blah-blah-blah.

Oswestry merged with TNS in 2003, I think...

Their ground is pretty neat. The only decent ground in the League of Wales though is in Llanelli and that's because its mainly a Rugby ground.

There's no hope of Barry coming back at the minute, they still have amateurs playing for them and have no control of Jenner Park. A damn shame. They went from starting in the Champions League to being relegated in one season. I think TNS have definetly benefited from their downfall.

Port Talbot are my semi-local team though. ;)

And they make TNS look like Brazil 1970!

Why the hell does Kaunas have to play Liverpool? Are they trying to torture me?

I am excited about Liverpools squad, and I will be dissapointed if they lose, but then again, it is Kaunas and that would be grea..........WHAT THE HELL! FOCUS! I NEED LIVERPOOL TO WIN!!! UGH. This is not fair lol. Liverpool has to win, but me being completely exhausted and listening to "The Return of The Lizard King" by the Doors is making me think about how cool Kaunas is.

Dinamo Tbilisi [GEO] 0-2 Brondby [DEN]
    [Skoubo 59, Elmander 82]
[Sent off = Amisulashvili (DT) 40]

Dynamo Kyiv [UKR] 2-2 FC Thun [SUI]
    [Husev 20, Shatskikh 43; Rodlofo 38 (og), Aegerter 65]

At half-time Anderlecht are stuffing Neftchi 4-0 and Kaunas blew a 1-0 goal lead against Liverpool thanks to some quick-fire goals from Cisse and Carragher.

Poor defending on both goals from Kaunas, Cisse managed to poke the ball past the defender in a position he shoudl have been able to clear the ball, the 2nd was a set-piece (corner), that Carragher got under and the Kaunas defender deflected it in.

With our (DK) defense the way it is, we have no business being in the champions league. :(

A touch of underappreciated sarcasm on"G" 's part.
I'm jes pissed at our (former USSR) ineptitude.
A few weeks ago I had a lengthy conversation mit a Gent who is quite up in Barca's management and he had a very unique take on CL, will try to share it later.

DKU should be embrassed mit deir selection process, unt I blame Surkis and not Buryak for it - it is their job to reap the cream of Ukranian crop (leave some for Odyessa) and not Brazilian has beens; WDF is Verpakovskis doin' on de bench, BTW?
