carolina is doing their job tonight helping us out by leading dc 2-1. if they maintain that lead, it makes our job of getting a playoff easier. now if sd can just take care of atlanta, we'll be in very good shape.
Yes if DC loses, they have 2 matches left, one against Atlanta. Atlanta has 28 points, and if they loses to SD, have 3 matches left. Assume DC wins it's NON-ATlanta match, then DC is up to 32. Assume Atlanta wins it's 2 other NON-DC matches, then then have 34 points. Since the Charge have 35 points, there's no way BOTH DC and ATLANTA can get 35. If Atlanta DRAWS SD, then there's the possible MULTIPLE tie at 35 points Since the Charge are 1-0-2 against DC and the Charge awould be 2-1 against Atlanta and 0-2-1 against San Jose, The net record is 3-3-3, which is .500 Without looking at the other 3 teams records amongst one another, this appears to get you through, unless all 4 teams are .500 and then everything goes to goal differential amongst one another., The big assumption in ALL this is the Charge LOSE all 4 matches.
looks like i spoke too soon - dc now winning 4-2. unbelievable! still 25 minutes or so left in the game - maybe the courage can come back!

I assume Slaton is NOT playing. She made all the diffrence for Carolina in theback And with San Jose coming to town, Carolina might be playing itself into a very diffcult bind, there last two amcthes are at NY and at San Diego. San Diego is a Sunday match with every one else done on Saturday.

Seriously, I just checked out the gametracker on the league website, which is working fairly well for a change, and they have the actual lineups, unlike the Charge-Boston game where all they had on the boxscore for lineups were Moore and Ducar. It was amazing lol... Paul

carolina came and played the first half. second half, dc totally dominated. looked like an entirely different game. i really think when mia came on second half she had a huge impact. best game i've ever seen her play.

I hope WUSA got them free. WUSA sight used to have highlights of all the matches. They just stopped in mid-season. Now you can play for COMBINED highlights, but last time I looked they were a few weeks old.
