It's out now apparently. Took 45 minutes to extinguish. Hopefully the smoke makes it look worse than it actually is.
An official spokesman for ManYoo has said the damage is only superficial and there shouldn't be any knock on effects to other parts of the stadium. Bit of a storm in a teacup it seems, thanfully.
that topic title scared the hell out of me lol heres the sky sports report http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=378771&CPID=8&clid=&channel=skysports_home_page
So will this affect the seating for the Sunderland match at all, or was it completely contained to an unfinished construction portion of the stadium?
It looks in the photo as if it happened in the corner where it is being expanded. I think I heard something along these lines on TV too. I shouldn't think it would affect the seating for the match on Friday, they still have 2 days to clear it up (if there was any damage/problems).
I blame the Glazers....trying to cash in on a insurance policy Seriously though ....thank god no one got hurt, the 1st thing i thought of was the fire back in the 80s bradford or brentford fire when the whole main stand went up
I was shocked when I read the title of this thread. Matt, an Arsenal fan, praising the Off-topic forum of Man U. What has the world come to?
Small Fire in North East Qudrant. Nowt Wrong now and won't affect anything r:e Seating at match on friday . Cuz its United Media blow everthing Out of proportion . Just like a few years back scholsey was out injured and the media were on his parents door saying he had cancer
