Being the fashion maven that I am I was perusing the latest issue of King of Prussia Style and took note that they have a spread using soccer in Chester as the theme. See it here: http://kingofprussiastyle.com/neighborhood_delco.php And no, I don't really read this, and no, it's not really a magazine. It's a catalog for the KoP mall and my mother-in-law saved it for me when she saw the Chester soccer bit.
Oops, I overestimated... only $125. http://shopapparel.lacoste.com/p/Low-Rise-Straight-Fit-Jean-34/B0011UUM4M or $145 http://www.armaniexchange.com/product/mens/jeans/zenith+indigo+jean.do?asc=&sortby=&size=
It's actually smarter than they think. The casual look is huge in England specifically. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casuals If KoP is already marketing to the casuals, we could have a really fun time on our hands. The first supporters club where only Lacoste, Burberry, Polo wearers need apply. The Sleeper's College Preps.
it's too bad there's a much darker side to the whole 'casuals' culture that KoP obviously isn't picking up on. if they actually knew that lacoste, ralph lauren, benetton, burberry, etc were associated with soccer hooligans in the 80s, i doubt we'd be seeing this.
Look: just because a fella likes to look at meatspin several hundred time a day doesn't mean anything.
And it was Black and Red, you know, because those aren't the colors of one of our rival teams or anything.
