No game thread, so I'll post here. Did eveyone in Orlando able to hear english on UniMas last Friday? I'm out of the area but I have unimas on my antennae, the SAP didn't work. If it happens again I'll try audio from 104.1 who will be covering the game. This will be a tough match, and revenge will be on the minds of Houston. Can Orlando get 3? Any predictions?
Houston certainly caused all sorts of issues in the friendly. I expect more from the Lions this time around, and we at least are assured that Collin won't get a red card early in this game. I'm actually thinking Houston should be the favorites here, first road game on a short turnaround and all. I'd predict Houston in a 2-1 victory, but am hopeful that we figure out how to finish this game and that enables us to win.
I wasn't sure whether to create a game thread for each game. Maybe as we go along I'll collect various info for starting a game thread a couple of days out.
Could see a cheeky road win for the mighty Lions. Owen Coyle is a mug, we need to force him into something he doesn't have .... A plan B. Go 'arn you rip roaring Lions. Sure Inchy will give it a proper go, we have nothing to lose, this is a bonus game for us.
Interesting. I see Ceren is in the starting lineup. I'm a bit surprised that Rivas is still up top, hope his timing is better.
This definitely feels more like a game thread, so I moved it here. I do wonder what the deal is with Rochez.
I'm in LA with Time Warner and can't get English. I don't know if I'm doing it right or if it's not available.
No English on my Brighthouse in Orlando either. Maybe it's the DVR. I have a digital converter in another that I thought about trying, but I'm too lazy to move that far.
Meanwhile, pretty good first half. The good guys very nearly scored if not for a World Class save by Tyler Deric. Kind of amazing there was a question as to whether he was ready to be the #1 in Houston. Long season to go, but he sure looks good early on.
I wasn't sure if Deric's performance against Columbus was largely due to home opening/rookie adrenaline or what. But watching his second game now I'm starting to think he's legit and I should probably pick him up in fantasy while he's cheap.
The stream had the Unimas American announcers. It's interesting that the stream is in English, but nobody can get it on TV.
