Why am I posting in this thread in 2023, with another tournament in full swing? Because, just to have a giggle, I started trying to see whether I could find footage of Lisa Dahlkvist totally freezing out Hope Solo's attempt to play mind games during penalty kicks by doing a prolonged glove change. Turns out that happened in this tournament, and there's news on this topic! Not exactly new news, but from four years ago, when the BBC had Solo doing commentary for France 2019. Basically she says, "the coaches made me do it and destroyed my gloves and I didn't want to." Seriously, wtf. How did I miss this?? Source Tre år har gått.
