It is always a case to celebrate when the French lose something I do feel bad for all the Portuguese immigrants...but London is not that far
What I thought that Paris was the clear cut favourite BTW, maybe it had something to do with Chirac's comments over the weekend about Finland when they had 2 very crucial votes
There are almost 1 million Portuguese living in France mainly in Paris! But there are also 100 000 or 200 000 living in London, so we will have support.
Now that Toronto doesn't have a racist mayor, i can see the 2016 Olympics is Toronto , if not Toronto, then Lisbon or Porto
They will probably go to North America as Africa is not yet ready...and Asia have the next one...too bad Brazil is not yet ready as that would be a true Party so we have: 2008 Bejing 2012 London 2016 New York?
great picture of Carlos Lopes, let's not forget Rosa Mota can you get me a picture of Joaquim Agostinho and post it on the cycling forum?
So 2016 will probably have Toronto and New York bidding. New York this time (and probably next time) didn't have their stuff together they thought they were gonna win because "they're New York" Tornot won't get it because Vancouver has the Olympics in 2010 and we're not the U.S to have olympics so close to one another. So probably some other country will win. Toronto should try more for 2020 we would probably be a lock for that one (assumiong N.A doesn't get 2016) Paris should of had this one since they had pretty much everything set many new facilities already running but London is a pretty good choice.
I hate to mention this but, can somebody tell her to shave those pits , god i would hate to see what that infield grass looks like
