I'm going to be in Manchester in March for the Liverpool match. FCUM is also playing that weekend and I might try and catch that game too. Anyways my hotel is near OT and I was wondering - What is the fastest way to get from OT to Gigg Lane using public transport?
Metrolink to Bury, bus/walk from there. If we end up kicking off at 12:15 and FC at 3, have heard it's just about possible to do both. Might have to leave OT 5 minutes early and leg it down Sir Matt Busby Way just to make sure. Hopefully (for you), United will be moved to the Sunday.
I'm hoping that the game is moved to Sunday - I'm not leaving early and even if I could squeeze it in, I think I want to make sure I can fully enjoy my first ever United match, which is much more important than any FCUM match.
