Goodsport updated a Brian Quinn thread that I started a long time ago with an article about him. In looking at the thread, I realized how many posters are no longer on BigSoccer. Made me sad. I miss how vibrant this forum and BigSoccer used to be.

Here is a list of former posters from that thread and when the last signed into BigSoccer:

    Brad May (9/17/08)
    tedwar (7-11-10)
    Hawkeye17 (still active)
    DouginSJ (11-12-06)
    TheSlipperyOne (4-2-19)
    IBleedTeel (4-18-16)
    Turcs (7-26-18)
    IrishQuake (9-19-11)
    Horndude (7-6-05)
    Goodsport ( still active)

    Go Quakes!

Some of the community here pushed JazzyJ away... though I believe he still reads the board and post in reddit.

Spartacus vowed to never have anything to do with MLS after the Quakes were relocated to Houston.

You'd have to ask JazzyJ that one. My guess is that he was attacked for an opinion that is different than his (much like happens in the Covid thread).

No one can make someone leave. Jazzy was very good at arguing a point, but, often wanted to make sure he had the last word. I think he realized that he was just getting too caught up in some of these discussions and decided to take a break from it all. He said something to that effect in one of his last posts.

"The main reason I have stopped contributing to the forum is that over the years I've found myself spending way too much time posting. Way, way too much time. I have a tendency to get into long debates (news flash!), many of them recycled many times over, and it is difficult for me to stop (a "pitbull", right Earthshaker? :)). So this is really my issue, and I'm owning it and trying to do something about it.'

And I think he got a little tired of all the memes I would send his way.:p;)
