It's coming my brothas [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJpZSMftjXY]TUF 10 Promo[/ame] I am hyped, aren't you???? Take a look at the peeps in the house Zak Jensen Marcus Jones Scott Junk Jon Madsen James McSweeney Matt Mitrione Roy Nelson Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson Demico Rogers Brendan Schaub Darrill Schoonover Wes Shivers Wes Sims (yes from the Hammer House) Abe Wagner Justin Wren Mike Wessel
I'm excited for Wes Sims being in the house. -- Is it just me, or did Rampage serve that win up for Rashad on a platter? Horrible matchup for Rampage's guy.
Big Country Roy Nelson vs. Kimbo Slice. Can team Rampage stop their losing streak??? I can't wait. If you don't like TUF 10, then you are a fake a$$ MMA fan!!!
Its a shame Rampage is so stupid. A bit more time to work on his conditioning and Shivers might have actually made it past the first round. Hell, matched up against someone other than Rashad's first pick and he might have made it past the first round. The sad thing is McSweeny was just as bad out there. I think the judges were too embarrassed to send them out for a third round. They spent more time wheezing then actually fighting.
Just a lil' bit long for Episode #3: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY2zkTkkdb0]Kimbo vs. Big Country[/ame]
Actually that was a touch of class by Brendan Schaub. I can't see why 'Page got pissed. Dude worked out of a jam & submitted his opponent. That was some great skillz shown there.
Seriously - nice finishes last week and this week. While all aspects of fighting arts are important in MMA, I'd argue that BJJ is the most important.
Don't tell that to Dragon Machida I believe you need a base art, then build around that. If you are a kick boxer, then you need to learn some grappling ASAP. Working on Muy Thai & BJJ is an awesome mix. I guess you do have a point, because anyone can get subbed
I hate this season for the simple reason that it, rightfully, makes Rampage look like the buffoon that he is. But, he's a loveable buffoon! Like Homer Simpson.
While I have no doubt that Rampage is still one hell of a fighter, he has no business being a coach. Zak waltzed right into that triangle and turned purple before he passed out. Happy for Schoonover, though. Dude took all kinds of crap and responded the right way, by handling his business in the Octagon.
Come on, 3 fights in a row that end w/ a tapout???? No one expected that. I am thinking that Rashad should show some of this brilliant jj in his next fight. Now I see why 'Page retired. He didn't want to face Suga Evans w/ his full fury
Re: 'Page is a bit bitter[R] 'Page has spoken about the UFC & how he feels about TUF 10: The entire interview is on Sherdog.com
Re: 'Page is a bit bitter[R] A lot of people have been talking about how the show's been edited to make Rampage look bad, but i seriously doubt they could've showed Rampage in any other light. To paraphrase off Rashad, he seems more interested in pulling pranks than actually winning the fights, i really feel bad for all the fighters who're stuck with him as their corner man. Repeatedly asking a fighter to "GET UP" doesn't miraculously teach him how to. As for the Wes Shivers fight, he didn't even win! He did however tie and therefore deserve an extra round. Yet both fighters were totally spent so im part glad they just gave it to one or the other.
I was very disappointed that the final show wasn't on this week, I wanted to see how Macus and McSweeny fair out though I will say this season fighters is a poor pool. I don't really see much potential though maybe in the next week show and the final could throw a surprise.
true dat. he got pwned tho. kimbo vs alexander is going to be tight. alexander aint no joke, although i remember seeing him beat recently in strikeforce. i hope big country gets knocked out on saturday.
