I think most of us provided our insights (guess) last week on this one. From your list I think Oscar and Jolley will be exposed while Reyes and Rhine will be protected, otherwise I agree with your assessment.

At least we didn't trade up in the draft last year to take a guy (Matt Taylor) that we would end up exposing this year in the expansion draft! I know we gave up Shavar but, isn't he now considered an SI? Would we be happy with him taking up an SI spot on this team?

I think it's taking so long to release the list because they won't release it until they've notified all of the exposed players. They've left EJ unprotected and they're having trouble contacting him in Columbus ;) .

Not funny! Could it be that the league is awaiting for the sandal wearing folks in the West coast to wake up? (time zone thing)

Only to the league office. I do not think that the official list is out. I could be wrong but I do not think this is possible.

The rumor du jour is that the RSL player announcement the afternoon involves a Burn player and the Burn cannot release their list until the announcement.

How can you have a player announcement w/o a draft? The Expansion Draft takes place on Friday. I suspect as well that The King of Goals Jason Kreis Superstar is as good as gone to RSL. Am I missing something. The list of available players has to be published by the league. If a trade were to have taken place, then said trade should have happened last Monday 15NOV04. All rosters are to remain frozen until the draft.... I could be wrong, but this is my interpretation.

As we all suspected, but my point that the trade should have taken place on bloody Monday. I wonder how come it was not announced on Monday.

Probably working out details with the league office - getting the deal approved, etc.

Usually trades aren't announced right away.

According to ussocceruk, all but DC and Dallas have released their lists.

My guess is that those lists will be made public sometime today unless there is another deal in the works.

    From the FC Dallas website:
"FC Dallas announced Wednesday their list of six unprotected players for Friday's expansion draft. Goalkeeper Scott Garlick, defender Matt Behncke, midfielder Ty Maurin, forward Toni Nhleko, midfielder Oscar Pareja and defender Philip Salyer are available for Real Salt Lake and CD Chivas USA."
