I'm having an argument with a friend - a NASCAR fan, who says NASCAR rules. I, of course, oppose. My argument's getting lame, so anyone want to point out why NASCAR sucks?
If you can't even figure out why NASCAR sucks on your own, then really, nobody should help you. You are pitiful. I'm not defending NASCAR, I'm just pointing out your idiocy.
NASCAR sucks because there aren't enough NASCAR specific stadiums around. Most of them have to share with AARCA, Cart, and IRL. That's pathetic. And don't get me started about not having a roof at any of those tracks.
Just mention that there are only two or three NASCAR races where the drivers turn in more than one direction. If your friend can't see the wisdom in that, forget it. Also, bear in mind that NASCAR is a social phenomenon as well as a sport -sort of a rebellion of the unwashed against F1- and you're not going to sway those people with superior racing.
Actually, I don't think NASCAR sucks at all... NASCAR sucks because there aren't any traditional racing team names. And the quality of driving isn't very good. How can you expect people to watch when they can see better racing from back home on television? Wait until all the kids who are just getting their driver's licenses grow up, though. THEN you'll see it really take off.
Anyone can drive around in circles, try heading the ball into the net at 12 yards or doing a bicycle or a rainbow.
NASCAR sucks because there's no possibility for a tie. Maybe if they change that rule, they can be taken more seriously.

NASCAR sucks. It just does. That's why it's only on the national networks in the early afternoon, and tape-delayed on ESPN2 or ESPN Classic.
