how about Florida Conquerors...sounds a little Age of Empires-y though.

I like Florida Rockets too. But i think my two favorites are between Florida Raiders and Florida International. Perhaps a team in Central Florida would be better with the Florida Raiders and a team in Miami called Miami International/Inter Miami.

Fusion sucked, but I thought that Mutiny was a great sports team name. The crest has to be replaced, but I think that any new owners (in Miami or any other city) should revive the Mutiny. They could add the 1996 supporters shield to their trophy case.

The Mutiny had a cool logo that they didn't use, it was a spider like creature, I can't find the website were I saw this logo, does anyone know what i mean?

Florida Raiders is the best name suggested. it has a nice ring to it.

I agree, but there is a team called St. Petersburg Raiders but they changed the name to Everton Florida, so I guess raiders could be used

Down here in Miami/Ft.Lauderdale we need a team name with a latin flare. Something like Atletico Miami. Miami Internationals isn't bad either.

Why don't you just call it "Hispanics, This Is A Transparent Attempt To Get You To Support This Team FC" (HiTIATATGYTSuTT FC)? All three of those names are equally likely to fail.

Here's my first shot at creating a crest for Atletico Miami. I like when teams in the same city share colors, so I went with the Dlophin/Marlin colors. I really don't want to see any more teams in red or blue, we need something different.

I wouldn't be upset if Miami Fusion FC name was revived, but it wasn't the best name either. The current trend in MLS is naming teams something a little more traditional.

So along those lines:
Atletico Miami
Club Miami
Miami SC
International Miami (Inter Miami for short)

What else sounds good and sounds like a soccer name?

PS. I'm going to try and come up with some more logo ideas for fun.
