Why no body goes to Turkish league? They are in Europe and have good clubs. Instead of joining end of table Qatari League our NT and talents should join clubs in Turkey. The competition is even better than Russian league or J League.
http://footballitarin.com/video_page.php?id=13891 Iranian football players's performance playing abroad in this week!
A member called RickDog provoked me in the Qatar 2022 thread and it got me banned one month for absolute BS reasons.
That American dude hold his grudge against Iran since WC 1998 when they lost to Iran 2-1. Be careful around him.
$$$ and a lack of ambition... They all have the qualities to play in Europe, but go for the big money instead. I hate Qatar for offering our NT players ridiculous wages they can't decline. It's sickening actually. Edit: I thought you asked ''why'' and not when. Haha, but I guess I answered another question too if you might wondering
To be honest, I can't blame them. Maybe some of the younger guys like Gucci should have waited a bit longer to see if he can land a European club, but the older players might need to earn their retirement funds for themselves and their family (considering footballers' relative short careers + military issues).
That I agree with completely, but I think it's just the way how you look at it. You become footballer for the sake of football, you can make decent money after your career too. A player can become a coach, or get a job in the management of a certain team..plenty of ways to secure his financial future. Being a pro is really a privilege which many (including us) dream of.
That only applies for two out of 7 Iranian footballers playing in Qatari league. Did you guys encounter the same problems with your Korean NT members playing in UAE or Qatar. Our players have lost their fitness and ambitions!
I feel that I don't have the authority to answer your question because (honestly) I don't follow KNT players much these days (esp individual players playing in Qatar/UAE/Saudi). With that being said, I do remember shortly after the Asian Cup 2015, that many of Korean NT players who participated in the tournament and plays club football in Qatar/Saudi/UAE admitted their clear lack of fitness. They stated that they could not keep up with Asian-based opponents during matches. Additionally, there is a pair of Korean football analysts who host a football-news series. The two seem very objective in their analysis, and are knowledgable about current events in both Korean and international football. These guys recently said that in their opinion, K-league seems more advanced in terms of match intensity (esp. pressing and tempo of football) than "mid-east" leagues that many Koreans transferred to.
You should advise your players to stay away from Qatar for sure and (if they can from) UAE as well if they care for their future. Qatari league is like a marsh, more they play in more their abilities and fitness fade away; subsequently they go deeper in troubles.
Social media can create pressure and influence on public opinion, which has direct or indirect effects on players.
