If Du Wei sucks, many Liancheng players suck.

That statement is true. Du Wei sucks and many Liancheng players suck. The thing is that the Li Weifeng and the HK centerback (if he's still there) are better, if not in better form. Plus, there is less ego and gameplay issues when you don't have Li Weifeng and Du Wei together.

This is why women love him and why he sucks. China defender Du Wei's "Gentlemen Love Football" has an even better record of 1,800,000 hits. I know it's the translation, but you all remember when his blog had a pink color scheme and princess music. Also, you gotta love Gao Lin's "He Who Deserts Fans Will be Deserted." Translations are funny. :p

Gao Lin is in EA FIFA 2007, and he is the best player on the Chinese National Team :)

As long as Shenhua keeps on winning, less and less people are going to care about Du Wei.

me not sure how good that HK defender is although i am from hk. But i still like Du wei pair with 吳偉超 the hk defender. Me just don't like retard Li Weifeng at all. That guy always commit unnecessary foul, and as someone said here he is very arrogant and ego.

From the start of the merger, boss Zhu Jun didn't have the support from Shenhua fans.
In Shanghai he is perceived as a ruthless football dictator, in the same league as Jeffrey Loria(MLB Florida Marlins owner who has a history of sacking managers at will)
Now he has made the decison of sacking Duwei, which has the effect of erupting the volcano.
By doing that Shenhua has alienated most of their die-hard fans. I believe no matter how many games they win, Blue devils won't support them anymore.

You're being too harsh on Li. He's been playing pretty well lately.

They should start Shanghai Football Club.

Are his stats realistic? Prior EA FIFA versions gave Chinese players 40s and 50s.

No, I think EA FIFA is becoming more generous with the Chinese National Squad. In EA FIFA 2005, Hao Haidong got 70s. In 2007, about 3 players got 70s including Gao Ling. However, I can't understand why Dong only got like 53. If anything, he should be 70 as well.

EA FIFA 2007 has almost all the Chinese international players. Shao Jiayi, Li Tie, Sun Jihai, and Shi Jun. Only reason that Dong, Zheng Zhi, and Sun Xiang weren't on Man Utd, Charlton, and PSV respectively was that EA FIFA used the end of december roster for EPL, so they didn't get time to update it before the release of the game. However, if you have xbox live updates, you would probably get it.

Looking forward to FIFA 2008. I think most likely Li Tie will be back in the CSL, but it looks like Shao Jiayi, Sun Jihai, Shi Jun, Sun Xiang, Zheng Zhi, and Dong will all be in their clubs. Hopefully even more, like Wang Dalei, Yu Hai, and others.

yeah i know, it has included the K-League for the past 3 versions. Why not the CSL right? So dumb. CSL and K-League are that different in terms of the quality of soccer.

i have a question coz i find different time for the matches like

    april 7
    17:00 Zhejiang Lucheng ? - ? Tianjin Teda
    17:35 Qingdao Zhongneng ? - ? Changchun Yatai
    21:30 Liaoning Zhongyuan ? - ? Xian Chanba
    21:30 Shandong Luneng ? - ? Changsha Jinde
    21:30 Shenzhen Shangqingyin ? - ? Shanghai Shenhua

    April 8
    17:35 Wuhan Guanggu ? - ? Henan Jianye
    20:30 Xiamen Lanshi ? - ? Beijing Guoan

wich one is good? coz if the times r at nite that will be good for the attendance and for the TV coz the chineses will have finish to work not like the 3.35 pm match where nobody go to the stadium

I think those are incorrect times. 21:30 is much too late for a game in China where most people go to sleep early. Also, CSL games are usually in the afternoon or early evening to avoid competition with EPL games which are on Sat. late nights.

Du Wei looks like a little kid having to apologize to his elementary teacher. He also has to use the notes because he's too young to memorize. :(
