You guys got your asses handed to you. Hard to believe this is the same team that beat Emelec and Leones.
I was hoping for at least a 3-0 win...but it is what it is. I am happy our boys made it this far, still the best team in Bolivia by far. We just need to regroup and refind our form again.
Sigh . . . it's unfortunate that this run happened in a World Cup year and I gotta admit that although at first I understood William leaving because he's at the end of his career and needs to cash in as much as he can for the sake of him and his family, I changed my mind and think that Marcelo should have payed as much as it was needed to keep William because it's not ever year that Bolivar or any Bolivian club has a chance to win the Libertadores. Yeah, it may be a lot of money what the Mexican club paid William but come on, you can't think Marcelo could pay the same amount and not affect his day to day. That being said, I still don't understand why El Demoledor didn't start in the first leg; his presence would have made the San Lorenzo club more occupied on their side of the field and probably not score that many goals and/or allow Bolivar to score at least one.
I also think that the WC break was negative for Bolivar, more so than any of the other teams. That 5-0 game was nothing like what they had shown throughout the competition. That score line completely took us out of it for the return leg, I really don't know if there was a bigger contributing factor to the collapse. Now looking forward there is a very strong squad to win the league and try Libertadores again, Once we go back to Libertadores we won't have the element of surprise, all teams will take Bolivar seriously. It'll be difficult to gat back to the same place.Even the league is looking very tough this year with teams like Oriente and Wilster.
http://www.late.com.bo/azkargorta-para-mi-cualquier-premio-es-jugar-cada-domingo/ Luis Ali from Osasuna B will sign with Bolivar.
That was the supposed wonder kid who lived majority of his life in Spain, right? Let's hope he isn't like that kid form Tahuichi that played in Germany and came back to Bolivia a not very good player.
With all the money Marcelo Claure has (I heard he is now the CEO of Sprint), you would think there would be some sort of online subscription to Bolivar games in HD. That would be awesome.
That would be pretty great. But then he would have to work something out with the league and obviously make sure that it makes fiscal sense. In the beginning when, I remember he would pay out of his own pocket to have games shown her ein the US on one of the channels on Directv. I would love to have that back reagardless if it's in HD or not.
Bolivia is just starting to broadcast in HD with the new satellite the government got and that TV channels are leasing. The season that just started is the first time the games are going to be in HD. (and thats only going to be 1 or 2 games per weekend not all of them).
I swear--that's how bolivia is! So behind. Right when 4K is starting to rise and become the new thing....Bolivia finally gets HD video...
looks like he drop kicked him after a verbal altercation off the bus ride. from what ive been reading, seems like the team was playing insult games like some tend to do and Cardozo was teasing Soria about his family and Soria probably got mad and said some other things to Cardozo. He couldnt handle it and pushed down Soria from behind. this is why some should just not play the 'shit talking' game.
OR be more professional and NOT play the "shit talking" game with the coach and vice versa. Only in Bolivia . . . SMH. At least he did apologize afterwards and own up to it.
haha yeah .that type of deal. This doesnt mean that you should use violence against your superior or teacher. this just points to Cardozo having a limit on his skills on and of the field.a player probably has never taken instruction well enough for him to be at his full potential. going to be kind of weird in training after this ..
