at least were winning and also kind of bittersweet when you look at the capacity of the stadium and our last game vs. Peru

Players seem to forget that Martins is still our go to guy and when we have a lead they hog the damn ball trying to score (i.e. Cardozo,Mojica)
Our Best players are Martins,Chumacero, and Raldes.

Zenteno and Bejarano are making sure we attack on the left side.

Yup, Martins was a defender magnet, without Martins on the fiels the Uruguayans can focus on Saucedo, etc

I agree... Martins brings defenders to him and opens gaps for the rest... el bigoton made a mistake on taking him out.

Arce is useless... just like vaca hit him hard and you take him out of the game.

Well, it was not so much a mistake as he was clearly exhausted from so much running! When he left he was breathless!

Yes, he was tired... but bringing Arce for Martins??? for that I would have kept Martins. We need size in front (pedriel 6 +needs a call back) if we have bejarano and cardozo on the wings we need a tall one in the box.

I hate to say it but not only did we get worse when Martins was out, but also when Mojica left, we couldnt put more than two passes together. Which brings the point of needing a player like Galindo to distribute. at one point the onlly one to try to take charge was Chumacero. I know Saucedo scored a hat trick but I give Chuma ball of the Match again just for his tenacity and being all over the field for 90 minutes. Even the comentators on BeIn sports said on several ocasions how he seemed to be on every play all over the field.

Rudy Cardozo seems to be taking strides forward with El BIgoton at the helm, as he has been more aggresive and actually creating plays not just giving them up. He also had a good game. Bejarano is good and should've had a goal.

Nothing to say on Raldes, pure class as always. Azogue did well, and for 17 years old, did well. If he can handle the Nats I'm sure Galindo is up for the challenge as well.

The only reason the stadium was full then, was because 14,000 peruvians were there. The last census put El Alto with 150,000 peruvian nationals.

Azogue at 17 yrs old playing qualifiers is pretty awesome. I know Suarez didn't do much against Peru (18 yrs?) but I like bigotons overall push for youth, Chuma is 21 and we got some youngsters coming up.

We're really going to kick ourselves for leaving points on the table at home against Peru/Colombia

BTW, is Saucedo 33yrs? I thought he was much younger.

Are you sure you don't mean Campos? he was supposed to be our creative central guy. only if he could focus on just making the less complicated pass and being less nervous. he plays better on the sides.

or you mean arce cause he holds the ball and gets hit.sorry

Arce almost scored too. If the Goalkeeper wasnt Muslera, he would have netted that one

But that's not good enough, is it? We always have had these "almost scores" and it's always some reason of the other...
