Good draw. Korea-Iran, Australia-Lebanon, Japan-Saudi Arabia. Though none of the big teams will send their A-squad. I expect a great match!
BTW: Anyone know if SBS(Aussie) will televise Australian matches?

    Fixture list ?

I read for Australia `s group that number 4 in pot will meet number one away on feb 22 and then number three home on March 1 so Australia will meet Bahrain away on feb 23 and Lebanon home on March 1.

    http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/public/article/show.asp?articleid=9802&menuItemID=

Is this the same for all groups ? If so this will be matchday 1 on Feb 22 :

    Group A
Japan- India , Yemen - Saudi Arabia

    Group B
Iran - Chinese Taipei, Syria - Korea Rep

    Group C
    Jordan - Pakistan , UAE - Oman

    Group D
    Bahrain- Australia. Lebanon- Kuwait

    Group E
China- Palestine , Singapore - Iraq

    Group F
Uzbekistan - Bangladesh , Hong Kong- Qatar

    Great Japan
and that's why we should join together at a international level and denounce AFC

    Forgot about Palestine :p

Last time played them in Asian Cup 2004 they chose to play both games in Singapore but this time it is impossible as AFC have banned it.

For the game against East Asia Champions ;) , U guys should have no problem in home game in China but your away form is not as good, seeing in the last WC qualifiers U have problems against Malaysia away.

I would like to see Iran, Korea and Australia in a same group.

I think Aussis will have a tough grass rolling show having Bahrain (the world best grass rollers), Kuwait and Lebanon (arabs are all potent grass rollers) on board. It's better to have Gymnastic referees instead of Football referees when you are playing Bahrain, then Bahrainis will surprise you with 6 straight 10 points! :D

    My prediction:

    Group A: Japan
    Group B: Korea Republic
    Group C: Oman
    Group D: Bahrain
    Group E: China
    Group F: Qatar

And I think Iraq will play in Jordan since they have the biggest Iraqi population there, +plus+ supporters.

They applied too late. There was a deadline and they didn't make it.

Didnt afc sent a deadline info letter to them? Man DPR are among the top 8 countries of asia. Damn the afc............

Since North Korea probably don't have access to the internet, the pigeon delivering the deadline documents probably got shot by an ICBM after being mistaken for a South Korean spy plane.

Palestine usually play their games in jordan, and also Iraq. but iraq sometimes like to play in Doha Qatar, since they have many of their NT players playing in Qatar.

or probably this is all south korean conspiracy. If the north koreans use pigeons for delivering deadline documents, so the logic would be THAT the southkorean soldiers at the border might have shot the pigeon and resulted in the N.koreans for not applying for the qualifications.
