Shimizu didn't look to good at the second goal. Otherwise it seemed she was doing ok.

I inserted my opinion in the wrong place in the previous post.:p
So, I repeat my comment here.
    Fujieda looks strong as always.
The last U17 NT members (Tsujisawa, Takaoka and Kubota) are still in the squad.
Seiwa Gakuen seems to do attractive football, but they are too small.

The Excursionistas (currently 11th in the table) earned a point for the first time ever in a match against league leaders Boca Juniors. The heroine of the match was the goalkeeper, who defended a penalty kick. As far as I can tell, this was Ichika Egashira's last match in the colors of Excursionistas. I have not found information about which club Egashira will move to, but there should be a lot of interest. Not only is Ichika one of the more media-savvy players in the league (Deportivo TV uploads footage of her every now and then), but she has directly or indirectly contributed to more than half of the 19 goals scored by Excursionistas so far.

The pushback after the penalty was the result of the frustration of the players and the Boca Juniors staff, who credited themselves with the win before the match even began. Most pathetic, however, was the behavior of the Boca Juniors staff toward the referee - a sprinkling of name-calling and punitive threats. I hope the league will draw consequences and punish the guilty accordingly.

Egashira fans (or family?) on the stands.

This was streamed live last weekend. Didn't find the link until after the game where the stream had vanished, seems to be back now.

Our team for today, with Ueki (who didn't play during last international break) instead of Tanaka and Koga's debut.

I think it’s a good lineup. Mostly the first choice players, and Koga is someone I wanted to see as well.
I just hope Kumagai doesn’t play in the midfield and go with three at the back.

I use Proton VPN. Japan is part of the three countries from their free offer, so it just requires an account.

Seems like its hot in Brazil, given the frequent water breaks.
Right before this water break was a good action from Japan but it died in front of the goal.

BRA 0 - 1 JPN Fujino scores, Hasegawa assists, Endo(?) worked the action

BRA 1 - 1 JPN Bia Zaneratto scores from FK taken from 18m (quite soft foul/ on rewatch it was clear dive - the ref seem to be very harsh on Japan and very leninet toward Brazil)

haha... ref just impeded play of Japan player after which they'd lost the ball... one could say she is home team 12th player, even commetators are joking about it :ROFLMAO:

Now Kumagai's carded for simple contact... either Japan stops touching Canarinhas or they will finish playing with 10...
