Honoka Hayashi scored for AIK today (2nd goal) in pre-season friendly. Matchen är slut – AIK vinner med 2-0! Dagens målskyttar heter Adelisa Grabus och Honoka Hayashi. Vi önskar er alla en fortsatt trevlig onsdag! 90’ | #AIKKAL | 2–0 pic.twitter.com/7IATY3pB4k— AIK Fotboll Dam (@AIKFotbollDam) March 31, 2021 Thanks for correcting my error. I actually saw both score lines but somehow was still able to mixed them up
NT member for friendlies: GK Ikeda, Yamashita, Hana DF Same, Miyaka, Shimizu, Miyagawa, Minami, Takahashi, Takarada MF Nakjima, Mizutani, Hasegawa, Sugita Hina, Miura, Shiokoshi, Hayashi, Kitamura, Kinoshita FW Sugasawa, Hamada, Iwabuchi, Tanaka, Momiki, Miyazawa
I see most of the international are there (Iwabuchi, Hasegawa, Tanaka, Takarada, Hayashi). So I have to suppose that OL didn't want (or couldn't) release Kumagai, because of their particular situation (quarantining from Covid cases and with the WCL quarter-final vs PSG rescheduled to 18th of April). Not calling Yokoyama looks like a willing choice instead, since Takarada is there instead. Some of the names are interesting: Hayashi has been a fixture of U-20 in past years but I don't think she debuted yet in Senior Team, did she? The experience in Sweden could give her the edge over other MFs? Kinoshita had to really impress to grant her a call to Senior Team! @unepommekun, you probably followed her better than anyone here: what do you have to say about her? Do you see her as a pre-destined NT member in the future? I wonder about some of the other recent U-20 stars: why no Jun Endo, for instance?
Lyon has now 4 new cases - 10 in total. Let's hope Kumagai didn't contracted the virus and her quarantine is only preventive. Endo or Yokoyama may still get invited for June friendlies.
NT camp ends 14th April (some sources say about joint training with Panama at 13th Apr) Now, overseas based players need to self isolate on return for 7 to 14 days (depending on country) plus they will miss another 1-2 days cuz of travel. I wonder if Takakura agreed with clubs to release them earlier, ie. just after Panama game or even after the first match vs. Paraguay. Iwabuchi's Aston Villa has some crucial matches in April in their fight to avoid relegation. In UK self isolation peroid is 7 days (?) 20.04 vs. West Ham 24.04 vs. Bristol 28.04 vs. Everton Hasegawa's AC Milan has that all important 2nd game with Inter in Italian Cup..It's 14 days of self isolation for Italy (?) 18.04 vs. Napoli 24.04 vs. Inter (Cup) 02.05 vs. AS Roma Tanaka's Franakfurt has very slim chances to finish 3rd in Bundesliga but they can still fight for 4th place finish with Turbine. It's quite compicated the rules in Germany but 10 days of self isolation is a given. 18.04 vs. Werder Bremen 25.04 vs. SGS Essen Takarada's Spirit is starting the league season. Dunno the exact rules on players return. 10.04 vs. NC Courage 16.04 vs. Racing Louisville 21.04 vs. Orlando Pride 27.04 vs. Sky Blue FC Hayashi's AIK is starting the league season. It's 7 days of self isolation for Sweden (?) 10.04 vs. Brommapojkarna (training) 17.04 vs. Vaxjo DFF 24.04 vs. Linkopings FC (?) - I'm not exactly sure of these numbers as situation is somewhat fluid with new restrictions introduced on daily basis
Obviously not... I've been thinking about Leverkusen but wrote Frankfurt instead... perhaps on account of few other Japanese who played in there in past years
As you say the rules are very complicated. But my understanding of the rules in the UK is that elite sportspeople are still able to take part in competitions even if they are isolating the rest of the time and so I think Iwabuchi will be able to play in the April fixtures (Villa certainly need her!). I would guess that is the reason she has been allowed to go.
H.T. Nagoya 1 Ehime 0 Nagoya not giving Ehime a moment on the ball before they are all over them hence have not seen any meaningful Ehime attack. Thought the goalkeeper could have done better with the goal. (If you look at the flags on the far side of the pitch you would think you are watching a W.K. League game)
F.T.....Nagoya 2 Ehime 2 Think Ehime fans will be happy with the draw after their poor first half performance although they could have taken all the points if they had capitalised on the Nagoya goalkeepers error at 72 mins. Ehmes 'super sixteen year old' number 20 Fujisawa made a difference when she came on for the final 30 mins and was instrumental in their first goal.Nagoya should have won that game (but they didn't).Go Ehime Ladies ps Matsumoto went off injured in 2nd half.If she's out for a while that will be a big loss for Ehime imo
Today’s result: Nagoya (Takashima, Ezaki) 2-2 Ehime (Yokoyama, Yamada) Konomiya (Morisako) 1-1 Cerezo (Hamano)
Today's games (all games start at 13:00): Nittaidai vs Iga Yamato vs Nippatsu Harima vs Setagaya Ange Violet vs Orca
H.T......Nittaidai 0 Iga 3 No reason why they won't score another 3 in the second half. They're just too strong for Nittaidai. (Nittaidai did have a close miss at 10 mins but not much else)
F.T.......Nittaidai 0 Iga 5 Nittaidai did muster three or four attacking moves in the second half so were not completely out of the game but Iga were by a big margin the superior side.Have a look at the delightful 'Hasegawa type' lobbed goal at 59 mins for 5-0. (The highlight of the game for me was the crying baby on the soundtrack in the first half.Sort of summed up Nittaidai's plight.Brought a smile to my face.)
Today’s result: Nittaidai 0-5 Iga (Nishikawa 3, Mitushashi, Sugita) Yamato (Kobari) 1-1 Nippatsu (Obara) Harima (Hazuki, Yoneda) 2-1 Setagaya (Takeshima) Ange Violet 0-2 Orca (Minamiyama, Urashima)

I see many leagues have games scheduled today: in Italy it's Easter break (merging with the FIFA window ), we only like to rest and celebrate. Great goal by Yoko, and I see the game is still underway and it's now 4-1 in 2nd Half. If they manage to keep this result, they will indeed have Sevilla in their sights in the rankings too: they could realistically aim for 8th place. In a league made of a massive 18 teams (!!!) and considering last year Sporting Huelva was fighting to avoid relegation, it wouldn't be a bad result at all.
What a good game by Kunoichi today, it seems this year they have a good scorer (Nishikawa has already 5 goals in 2 games, I'm crossing fingers). I liked Mitsuhashi as well, she participate in the first 2 goals (both quite similar) and scored another. And Sugita's goal was delightful, the accuracy was almost perfect. 2 games, 9 goals scored, none received, I hope the rythm stays the same all the season.
