Japan national will have a friendly match against Panama national team in Graz in Austria, on 13/11/2020. JFA had announced previously a friendly against Mexico in Austria too, on 17/11/2020. https://www.jfa.jp/national_team/mens_all_2020/news/00025550/

This team turns into a different animal when Endo plays. Imo he has already surpassed Hasebe as a DM.
There's not much to say: for once we got the defense right, but 2 years left to find someone who can put the ball in the net. And a stable pair of central midfielders
No comments yet on the Mexico game? I feel like this should be a pretty good match, Mexico are a tough outfit, let's see how the defense handles jimenez. Looking forward to seeing kubo, I really would have loved to see how Mexico dealt with a kubo minamino nakajima front three. But alas. Streams looks scarce for this one, might have to be a YouTube effort and hope that it doesn't get taken down.
Oh nevermind, kubo and minamino aren't even starting, I really hoped he would have put out his strongest team for this one, not sure how this will go now. I'm guessing the plan is to stick those two and miyoshi on in the second half against a tired Mexico?
Just stadium sound https://www.soccerstreams100.net/live_stream/play/japan+vs+mexico/live_stream_1#MS8z edit: I expect a tough challenge, but the kind that we need. It's a better measure of the work to do than facing some minnows here and then.
We'll see. A little too often, I'm left baffled by the coach's tactical and personnel choices. edit: That's a good shot by Haraguchi, but a better save by Ochoa.
Good game so far. I like what I am seeing from Ito. He kind of reminds me of Nagatomo, not a big guy but a huge engine + hustle. Also Sakai needs to chill haha
Been really impressed with Japan so far, they've given Mexico a lot of problems and suzuki should have scored 2 and missed a 1 v 1. But great use of the ball by japan, Mexico have struggled to deal with Ito who has been really lively. Will be interesting to see if the big guns come on.
I only saw the second half of the first 45. Thought they were having some difficulty playing the ball out from the back against Mexico’s frontline pressing. Schmidt’s distribution needs to be better.
Japan was pressing really hard in the first 25 mins with a couple of good chances. After the 25 min mark, Mexico got used to the speed and became more organized. Does anyone know if Kubo or Minamino has a chance to sub-in in the second half?
Man, for the last 5 minutes japan couldn't get a sniff off the ball, Mexico were pressuring hard. Jimenez gets his first chance of the game and scores, now thats clinical. Shame for Japan who deserve more, if only they had that cutting edge and top striker
How many years have we been begging and crying for that? What Japan severely needs are Ds who can stay mentally sharp and strikers who will kill it for you. I don't care how many midfielders Japan can produce anymore; that is a flaw about the development program that needs major addressing.
I don't think minamino has touched the ball since he came on. Edit: now he just lost possession and Mexico scored
Yeah, it's crazy to think that for so long japan have never had that true finisher up top. Usually once in a generation you find a player like that, but in Japan's case it just hasn't happened. A legacy of legendary midfielders but always misses that true star striker, very strange
