True, especially with all the uncertainty surrounding Columbus--although that seems to have been resolved--which I think is great news for the league & for Columbus.
If GBS came in as coach, I definitely see him bringing/hiring his own assistant coaches but I don't see him taking on the GM role as well. Would Kinnear be a good candidate for GM? Would he even be interested in it?
Anyone else suspect that Chris, Pete and Jovan are currently driving around Boca Raton, FL, Pete holding an upside down map saying "I'm sure he said he lives around here somewhere!".
Way back in the day, I had an outline for a comedy script about a scout for a newly-promoted fictional EPL team who mistakenly flies to Portland, Maine instead of Portland, Oregon to recruit an American soccer prodigy and accidentally signs a guy with the same name who happens to be a dim-witted junior-college Tom Brady wanna-be who thinks he is going to England to play "football".... Sadly, I never wrote it. I'm sure it would have sold for millions....
Columbus job is a massive risk for Schletto. They are already a good team, so improving them will be much more difficult than improving us. Columbus just doesn't have the star power, and funding that we have. We are a hot mess, so if you can improve on this past season, you are already considered a success. Managing us and doing well looks great on a resume especially if your aspirations are to go to europe or coach a national team. Columbus also has uncertainty with their team currently.
Rowan Atkinson as the club Chief exec and Ray Winston as the Sam Allardyce style "tracksuit manager:.
John Boyega as the young scout who goes to the wrong American city and brings back Ryan Reynolds. And, of course, Emma Watson as Rowan Atkinson's daughter who hates all things football and football players most of all. I think people should be throwing money at us about now...
Honestly? I'd watch the HELL out of that. And given that Americans today are more familiar than ever with English footbalisms -- the time is right! I feel like very few comedies nowadays even try to come up with a clever title, let alone a clever concept: Bad Moms Bad Teacher Horrible Bosses Girls' Trip Rough Night Office Christmas Party Valentine's Day New Year's Eve Identity Thief Tooth Fairy Spy It's like the title is the pitch. "OK, so there's a spy--" "Well, I don't need to hear anymore! Let's release it in February!" So I suggest the following titles: "Football", "Bad Football", "Football Player", "Bad Football Player" or "Foot".
He already has acting experience too in the Ferris Bueller remake. I'd throw money into making this happen.
I am sure the agent for Eduardo Dominquez has convinced someone in the FO that he is ready for a triumphant return to MLS and the Galaxy at a "cheap" $750K.
You know when I knew Dominguez was a bust? When Asked about him, Landon mentioned he headed the ball hard. I mean? What..?

Just saw Watford are interested in signing Joao Pedro. In 2020. When he turns 18. Joking aside I don’t want to see a single player signed until there’s a new coach in place. The FO has lost signing/scouting privileges for at least the next season.
I assume that either you are joking about the incompetents in the FO who signed the not so young Joao or that is someother Joao Pedro. In any case, the one signed by the Galaxy will turn 27 in 2020.
Could be..... but Atlanta seems willing to go big time with salary, and if he has the same role as Tata Martino it seems more expansive than the crowded "FO" field would allow with the Galaxy...?
