Did Klein really say this? And if so about whom? - I wonder if anyone really scouted Gerrard during his last season at Liverpool, because Gerrard was clearly over the hill and Liverpool's attempts to use him as a midfielder in the center of an empty bucket 442 were clearly a disaster. IMO, it his is true, Klien should be fired for below expectations performance. How in good conscientious can you not scout a DP both personally and by video (and by multiple scouts)?
Klein really said that? I believe it because I think that is what happened with Gerrard. But that approach is soooooooo wrong.
Most likely. I knew Gerrard was past it, when I watched Liverpool play a few games in the spring of 2015 especially the April 19th Aston Villa FA Cup semi-final game, where attackers ran past Gerrard as if he were a practice cone. He also dragged in the Stoke game where Liverpool got blown out. And if I could see, it, there was no way a professional scout/gm/coach/technical director couldn't have see it months earlier (had they bothered to look). Here is my post from after the game:
Unless there's a glitch in the matrix, according to my memory he said that about Gerrard. It was in one of those LA Galaxy produced videos when it was announced that Gerrard was signing with us. The ones where everyone in the front office was interviewed about Gerrard. Even Gerrard was interviewed looking depressed and in shock.
Looks like Schweinsteiger may go to Chicago http://www.espnfc.us/major-league-s...-in-talks-to-join-chicago-fire-in-mls-sources Anyone familiar with any of these guys? https://realsport101.com/news/sports/esports/football-manager/fm17-top-ten-bargain-midfielders
Good point, but if he is promised minutes here, I am sure he'd consider it. Coventry aren't in the best position. They are in League 1 (3rd tier) and are only 3 points above relegation to League 2.
Right up until the injury he was excellent, but since he came back Jose for whatever reason is not willing to play him and is instead going with Fellani which boggles my mind. Schweinsteiger reminds me of KaKa during his last days with Real Madrid. He just couldn't get back into the lineup with Ozil having essentially taken his spot while his was out. Is Ozil leaps and bounds better than Kaka? No. But he is less injury prone and just as consistent. Fellani is less injury prone but in my opinion can't hold a candle to Bastian. If he comes to MLS somebody is going to be getting a stud and only at 32 to boot.
This is going to make me so mad. We probably traded him for tam so we can bring in some 38 year old for a year or two.
I saw on Twitter that it was a joke by Ema...but now I can't find that particular tweet and who said it.
Interesting. Boateng's ability to find the final ball is really poor but he brings a lot of dynamism that is nearly non-existent in the rest of the squad. Hopefully we get something good because I could easily see this being a bad trade.
It's post-election commentary. "Joke" is probably too light-hearted a characterization. As an immigrant and an African native, he may feel seriously threatened. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean he is seriously going through with it.
Yeah, apparently he 'liked' replied comments acknowledging it as a "joke". Man, for a second there, I was
