Ottawa just announced that they've signed Tony Donatelli. Should be alright since he has past experience as a D2 regular.

Tampa just signed Matt Pickens ... bought for 15oK.

 

From MLS? he was waived by Colorado, but I guess the league still held his rights.

 

New England picked him up off waivers. Nice little piece of business for the Revs while Colorado gets nothing.

 

The Pickens deal is a watershed event. MLS selling a player for a significant fee to an NASL club. I have no delusions that this makes the Rowdies heading to MLS but a healthy transfer market would benefit everyone in US Soccer. Maybe the days of players only moving between divisions on free transfers will fade.
