    No I dont :p

Kaji was crap against the US. He got burned at least a dozen times on the wing.

He was decent against Finland and fairly good against India and Bosnia. My overall take on Kaji is that he can manage to look pretty good as long as nobody forces him to play defence. Again, how hard is it to look good when you are guarding Santos?

I think he might manage to look OK against Australia and so-so against Brazil (face it, Roberto Carlos is getting OLD), but he is going to get schooled once again in the Croatia match, unless Zico has the good sense to play Komano.

Seriously, FC Tokyo wouldnt have tossed him overboard if they thought he could defend. He *IS* a decent midfield wing (if you have a solid back behind him). But Tokyo already has more midfield wings than they know what to do with. The difference between Kaji and Tokunaga is that Tokunaga actually can do the job on both ends. Not just on attack.

    Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R]

    Ok thats fine.
But i've said before that Kaji should be played as a full on winger rather than LB or LWB or whatever, When i speak about him i tend to focus on his abuility in attack rather than defensively, i know he is a bit like Santos when it comes to defending except he tries, Santos doesn't look like he gives a rats ass about what happens anymore

What i've seen with Kaji is he looks more vunrable against Fast wingers, i know next to nothing about Croatia except Dado Prso i know well, He is a all out striker but can drift out to either wing and for rangers even when playing as a striekr he goes to the wings and tries to supply, but i think Kaji can contain him on the wing, Santos and Miyamoto probably couldn't. prso is not the fastest player on earth but does twist and turn quite alot, as i said for all i know there usuall winger might have electric pace i have no idea ?

Kashima 3 Hiroshima 2 halftime now.
Hiroshima tied it twice, but Yana put Kashima ahead with his 2nd goal of the match. Ogasawara has a goal and assist on Yana's second goal. Sato scored the 2nd goal for Hiroshima.

    OMIYA 4 JEF Chiba 2

Jef dominated the first half but Omiya regrouped in the second and scored 3 on a couple of headers from Daigo and Toninho

The ref was kind of a joke...... he gave Sato a bunk second yellow to give Omiya a man advantage.............That was the only sore spot for me but I'm very happy with the win! OMIYA EXPRESS!

Gamba Osaka played ''well game'' vs Urawa Reds..
Aspecialy the brazilian players number 8 Fernandinho and n9 Magno played very good game.
Akira Kaji was cool aswell. There is one more player played big game at this match. He was everyevere on the pitch. number 14 Akihiro IENAGA was great.

Gamba Osaka will gonna shine this year aswell.. My gues.;)

I liked what i see it in first game on J League.

Urawa played well first half. But football is full 90 minute.

Ono played overal good game. There was not much support around him. But few game later Ono will lead Team more Well.Good luck.

S-Pulse enter the season very well 2-0 score at away match vs Kofu.

Another good start from Kashima Antlers. They dont give up. And get 3 point.

Jef United, at the game ,losing consantration and at the final > they lose 3 point . They give game with theyre Hand. Omiya didnt give up. and at the final they get 3 point.

    J League start very Well.
J 2 , Tokyo Verdy's game was good to watch aswell. Good goals and nice start from Ramos team.
Another gamae at J2, Vissel Kobe played very bad. they lose 0-3 at home.
Bad start from Vissel. i hope they will comeback more good shape and more agressive . I realy wonder next game of Vissel..Are they gonna get 3 point from away match..
    We will see next weekend.

    Good luck to All Team.:)

    Okinawan, actually.

Whether that is the same thing as Japanese depends on who you ask ;)

Though when it comes to un-Japanese sounding surnames, it is hard to beat some of the ones you find in Shikoku, Okayama and Yamaguchi

Thanks for the welcome Trooper :) I'm assuming your talking about a person and not the food? :p Either way I don't have any relation. As I can't read Japanese I browse forums to pick up the latest happenings :)
I'm glad Verdy got off to a good start because it was them that got me interested in Japanese football.

It looks like Kawasaki will be holding first again. 7-1 is a freaking big win (and the match hasn't even finished yet).
