Official 2006 J.League Thread [R] - part I

    Official Fixture of J.LEAGUE is announced today.... To see a japanese version, go to http://www.j-league.or.jp/schedule/ and use the drop down mane at the top.

    Now if you look at Gamba's schedule, J.LEAGUE did pretty good job of it:
    J1 Match 1: March 4th
    CL Match 1: March 8th
    J1 Match 2: March 12th
    -----------------------
    J1 Match 3: March 18th
    CL Match 2: March 22nd
    J1 Match 5: March 25th
    J1 Match 4*: March 29th (moved from March 21st)
    J1 Match 6: April 1st
    -----------------------
    J1 Match 7: April 8th
    CL Match 3: April 12th
    J1 Match 8: April 15th
    ------------------------
    J1 Match 9: April 22nd
    CL Match 4: April 26th
    J1 Match 10: April 30th
    CL Match 5: May 3rd
    J1 Match 12: May 6th
    J1 Match 11*: May 10th (moved from May 3rd)
    ------------------------
    CL Match 6: May 17th

    Then the league restarts July.

    On the other hand from bigining of April to end of May, Verdy has to go through the 13 consecutive games just like Iwata and Yokohama last year. But don't forget they asked for it; I don't really feel sorry about them.

    there are reports about Zico taking charge of Kashima after the WC and going after Brazil NT members such as Ronaldo in order to restore Kashima to power.

    ronaldo's a fat lazy ass, but he would score insane amounts of goals in japan. Woudn't surprise me if he goes to kashima but didn't they just get a new manager

    When said he i meant Zico to Kashima, not Ronaldo becoming manager of kashima :D

    MUHAHAHA! Hello people:D I come with good news, Gamba say that the asian champs league is a priority :D well i say Gamba when i mean Magno Alves. Obviosly along with defense of J League title

    Wasn't even a friendly, just a practice match. I never new Omiya were out there aswell

    Omiya's Brazilian defender Toninho is just about to begin his sixth straight season with Saitama's Super Squirrels. Has any other foreign player spent such a long time at one J-League club?
