My Band (Totally NSR) Hey all. If ayone wants to come and see me play drums much better than i do while at the games, Come to El torreon on September 6th (next friday) to see my band, DiSH. Brian Bomb actually booked you? I'm just a little surprised as I thought he was trying to focus on larger national bands.
Good guy, Brian Bomb. I guess he does hold an affinity for local bands, and younger ones, too. Who else are you playing with?
Usually for OT things put it in brackets before the title, kinda like with the [R]'s and the [Article]'s.
Jason- Lots of younger local bands get time at El Torreon now. I have a friend who goes down there all the time to check out the local bands. There's actually a few bands who aren't bad.
No offense to your band, Yank, but El Torreon is the biggest craphole excuse for a club I have ever been to. The one time I went there, I felt like a squatter at some underground gig for the homeless. I was embarrased for the bands (one of which had come all the way from Norway).
Hex- they've rebuilt the stage, the bar area, and the games section. It's a lot better now. Still got the whole warehouse feel going on. I dig it, but then I've really only gone to punk shows at dives and basements for 8 years now.

Alex- I've got a bunch of friends who saw your show last week with Sophie Nun Squad... I was going to go w/ them, but ended up going to the thing 96.5 was sponsoring w/ Thulium/Anything but Joey, OK GO, and Breaking Benjamin. BTW- OK GO blew ass that night. Anything but Joey always puts on a good show, and Breaking Benjamin was good... but OK GO was horrible.
Oh man. tahts awesome. That was such agreat show. I will say that its the best show ive ever been to (besides the fact taht i was technically in it) Soophie Nun Squad is amazing and wonderful. We are probably going to meet them tomorrow, one of them wants to recird us in his studio downtown, so we will go there and watch them record. I hope they had good hitngs to say. about us.
