well, anyone here likes to play Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution Series???

    I enjoy it a lot, since I played WE J-League for PS1...
in international series I love to play as Japan and beat everyone hahaha :D

Sometimes I play the old series on ePSXe, I have WE 2000, WE 2002, WEJL2001, WEJL98 and WEJL2000...
I just made this thread for we talk about WE/PES series and post some nice goals on there...

    (sorry for my poor english)

I scored this goal when I was playing the JOMO Cup 2001 between Japan Stars vs. World Stars, I won this match by 2-0.

    Yes.

I have been playing the game since ISS Evolution 1999. The J-league versions are still pretty good games (gameplay and content-wise) but I personally think PES6 was the last "good" PES game.
The releases in the past three years have been very disappointing (ALL systems alike) but I am still loyal to the franchise while hoping it will retrieve its former glory shortly.

    I made J-League 2009 to my PES6 =)

I played the tournament as Kyoto Sanga but I was runner up )= Urawa Red Diamonds won and curiously Oita Trinita was the last placed

I think 9 was good but I'm really disappointed with 10....it's so hard to play nice football....

The new J-League Winning Eleven Club Championship 2010 comes out in August, looking forward. Though still for the old PS2, but always enjoyed it. :)

STILL ONLY FOR PS2?!!?!?!?!?!? ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME KONAMI!!!

Imagine on the PS3. It would be the most wonderful football game I could perhaps imagine if they put the NT's on it. Basically if Konami put all their licenses and whatnot into one game (PES plus the J.League)

I actually think the 2009 J.League version is better than both FIFA, Winning Eleven and World Cup 2010 editions. I dont like the new games that much, so I still play mostly the 2009 version still. Will most likely invest in the 2010 J.League version as well, but I hope they havent inserted the same engine that they use for the 2010 regular PES.

As Akitod says, its really surprising that its still only available on PS2, 4 years or something after PS3 were released.

The fact that the new PS3 is no longer backwards-compatible makes that an absolutely terrible decision. Terrible move, Konami.

    nice thread ^^

i own every ps1 and ps2 version of the game (japanese versions)
and i have to say that the j-league version just rock

about the decision to still bring out ps2 games...

i read that since konami itself is not satisfied with the
next-gen we-engine yet and the ps2 is still broadly distributed
in japan they kept on releasing a ps2 version...

maybe with the new we2011 we might see a Jwe2011 next year...
but actually i dont bother it still being ps2 only...

and like nipponbasse said... the jleague ps2 version beats its ps3
    cousins fifa and we..

even if changes are minimal (on roster, the one or other change
of the engine and mode) its always great to see that opening
showing all the j teams... and the community mode is a classic
where i live.. we always have some 10 people tournaments every now
    and then ;)

the only thing i wish would be a psp port in order to play the jleague
on the go.. so i dont need to edit the teams and stuff..
this should be easy, considering the similarity between ps2 and psp..
but i dont think it will happen...
