    Oct. 15th Open Cup game?

If the game is played at NSF part of a doubleheader game with MEX/URG. Will we be able to use one of are bonus tickets (season ticket holders) for this game or are we going to have to purchase an additional ticket.

the Open Cup is run by the United States Soccer Federation, nothing to do with the Fire.

And yet, two of our season tickets (for full season holders) have granted us access to two open cup games.

So, while technically, what you say is true, you are attempting to mislead.

From the letter I received from the Fire with my NSF season tickets....

Now, they are not clear that the bonus game "D" means BOTH games or just the Mexico vs Uraguay game, but as I read it they meant both. Could be wrong, but thats how I read it.

FWIW, I got mine last Monday. The postmark was Friday the 19th.

And I'm sure that Bonus Game ticket "D" will include both the Mex-Uru match and the USOC match (if the Fire host the match).

I recieved my 10-10 and 10-18 tickets yesterday. (know you werent asking me but if you were just asking in general theres your answer :)

    My questions are;

Are they gonna send us a Bonus Game D ticket if it works out that way?

    also

I noticed tickets in the area of Section8 are being sold for Mexico Uruguay. How is that gonna work out if its a doubleheader?

I thought that Peter Wilt chimed in on the boards a week or two ago that the section 8 seating areas were being held until they know if we are hosting the championship game?

Thats prolly it. On the little seating chart diagram on the Fire website it has all the South End highlighted but yeah, Im sure PW and them are thinking ahead.

What about the rest of the season ticket holders, section 8 fans are not the only ones that support this team.

    is true.

    peter

    Thanks Peter

That's good to know, somtimes it seems that section 8 are the only fans that suppport the team.

So does that mean that NSF will be the site of US OPEN CUP Championship game.

That will be decided by the US soccer federation, but there is a good chance it will be.

I'm going to guess that having such a limited time to sell tickets the game will have to go to The Fire.

I do hope that if we end up not hosting the game, that they do not have the Nowak testimonial on the 15th. That would really suck to have to choose between watching the Final and showing your respects for our ex-captain.

And, sorry Peter, but I'd know which i'd be forced to choose.

Actually, I'd rather at this point they just save the testimonial till next season, maybe as a preseason game. You won't have as many people but cramming 3 big events in one Wednesday night seems like a lot.

    Oct. 15th Open Cup game?

I talked to the office and they said that if we are hosting the Open Cup Final and having the Nowak testimonial on the same night, that it will end up being a triple header with the Mexico/Uruguay game. Going to be a crazy night if this is what happens.

Re: Oct. 15th Open Cup game?

Good lord! People will have to leave work early in order to get there in time for the first game. The logistics will be a nightmare. Imagine the parking scenario. People who are wiped out after two games trying to leave while people just interested in the last game trying to get in.

Please don't let the USOC final be the last game of the night.

    Re: MEX/URA

    Two things:

    1. Uruguay.

    2. They'll probably move back the last game an hour to 9.

My guess is testimonial at 5pm, USOC at 7pm, MEX/URU at 9pm.

Wasn't sure if it was URA or URU, sorry about that.

Atleast if you're right many of the Mexican/Uruguay fans will be showing up at halftime of the Cup Final.
