Using papar and postage isn't fiscally responsible. I say a text for good news and tweet for bad news from now on. If it can't be said in 140 characters it's not worth the trouble.
For an ass like him who thought he was a big deal, I wouldn't even send a letter. I would just fix the payroll "glitch," so he won't be receiving a paycheck anymore. It'll just work itself out naturally.
You'd think a player who actually gave a shit while he was here would be better treated. That's all I have to say.
Only because he had no where else to go and needed to use us as a way back. It was a better idea than a 36 page full color brochure. I still prefer the Milton example.
Despite the elegance of treating the players like they deserve to be treated based on their behaviour, we might need to be polite and businesslike if we want to get more players in. But then again, it would be great if we only got players in who liked it if we treated trash like trash, cause they only want to play along side class guys. I'm not sure you can make a whole team of guys who think like that, though.
I was referring to the time spent in a Newcastle shirt, which was more than I can say for 95% of the rest of our squad.
I heard on WSD that the club's fleet of BMW's have been repossessed and Lamblas had to take public transit to work. I don't know if I believe this since it implies the club chairman is actually working.
Must spead rep... Either that or someone in the Newcastle FO should've posted "ur fired!!" on Lovenkrands' facebook wall...
I'd heard that Llambias' car had been taken back by the hire company, apparently it was Kinnear's car but Llambias took it over when Kinnear got ill. Anyway, typical of Llambias's communication skills he hadn't been responding to their calls and e-mails about either extending the lease or returning the car, so they just turned up outside St James Park and took it back. No idea if he's riding the bus or the Metro, but I doubt it... Be a risky move for that twat. Like you say I doubt he's even turning up any more.
A mystery Malaysian consortium is said to be leading the race to become new owners of Newcastle United. The group were given a full tour of St James Park, the training ground and the City yesterday, and according to the Evening Chronicle the group have bid in excess of £80m for our ailing club. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc...-80m-bid-for-newcastle-united-72703-24066213/
Keep in mind it is Sunday, which may as well be April Fool's Day for the rags, but there's a report that five players skipped curfew while in Ireland last week. Hughton apparently didn't punish them because he didn't want morale to sink any lower.
According to NUFCBlog, NUFC have fined Sebastian Bassong two weeks wages for refusing to travel for the previous friendly.
