Welcome to the forum! I'll give you a tour and breakdown:
this place is old and isolated but sometimes folks from other forums stop by and add something, usually something constructive, funny or informative so trolls are rare and when spotted usually run back from wherever, feeding of trolls is frowned upon unless its hysterical and worth while

there's some specific threads for league and transfers etc. but feel free to make one as long as its appropriate

Im interested to see your thoughts on how the team is doing and comparison of the period grew up watching vs now
its pretty chill here so enjoy yourself

Samora thanks for the response. The team now I think is at the worst point I've ever seen since I've started following Inter in the mid to late 90s. I know that they were pretty bad right before Moratti became owner. Their 93/94 season was pretty awful except for the UEFA Cup win.

Hey everybody. I haven't been on the boards for some time now, but in the time I was gone I became an Inter fan (where Forlan goes, I follow). Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

My team is Inter Milan. I bleed Black and Blue. But,I'm like you I follow another Uruguayan Diego Lugano where ever he goes. One of the best Center backs in the world. I just hope he doesn't join another Serie A team then I'd have to root against him. Welcome to the Inter family. Too bad it's Forlan's first season and we've been playing so poorly.

I do have to say, despite the poor play (or maybe because of it), the team as a whole has grown on me in a way Atletico Madrid never did. I can't really explain it, I just feel more connected to this team for some reason. Unlike with Atletico, I will keep following this team even if/when Forlan leaves.

Nice, hopefully starting next season the new Generation will come and help us start winning.

Welcome aboard, just an out of the blue question, are you a masochist?:D
jokes aside what connected you to this club, Im more of a believer of the club picking you or at least connecting and drawing you closer
was it really the poor play cause that would be one of the strangest things I've heard

just a couple of notes on top of what I mentioned before, we've been the laughing stock of the top teams this season and the forum has had some minor trolling moments
the forum stays classy(like San Diego!) so careful when dealing with them
besides that this place is pretty laid back so enjoy yourself

I'm also a huge Detroit Lions fan, that might help explain it. I wouldn't feel right adopting a team when they are at the top of the league, I'd much rather watch a team improve from a lower position.

A team with a rich history that has fallen on hard times suddenly makes for a better story. I don't know if I'm explaining this at all, but when you love a team like the Lions even though they've pretty much sucked my entire life, it makes sense.

Indeed, barring anything extraordinary, we won't be good for at least another 1-2 years.

I bleed Black and Blue. But, I also follow Sao Paulo,River Plate,Valencia,Sporting Clube de Portugal and PSG(Where Diego Lugano is). I was just wondering If any other Inter fans support other clubs besides Inter? Is it strange to support more than one club?

    you bleed a lot:D
I use to follow tons of teams when I was young, a comparable size to yours
Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bordeaux, Inter, Porto, Feynoord, Schalke
after a while and after I figured out I was pretty plastic for chelsea/RM I learned where my loyalties stood, Inter and Bordeaux
the other 3 I still root for but to a much lesser extent

New(ish) Inter fan here, started following 3 years ago and decided to find a forum after I realized I didn't have anyone to discuss Inter with. I'm really lucky that I live in NY because its given me a chance to see my favorite squad play at MetLife Stadium, August 4th. I will be going with a fraternity brother who is a AC Milan fan (something is wrong with him). Chelsea, AC Milan, Valencia, and Inter will be playing there as a double-header.

Hopefully Inter will win and Milan will lose so I can give him **** about it eternally.

    Cheers!
