I'm goin' to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come. That's right, I'm moving back (finally)! More details later, or at the game Sat. See you all then. For those that don't know me, or don't care, I appologize for taking up this space.
No offense, but I don't know you. I probably do from the games, but not a name/face kind of thing. Somebody needs to get some of those big Cauldron photos from Y.C.J. and Photoshop in peoples' screennames next to their picture!
Wat to go Ben. I remember at the tailgate prior to the last home game you said you had an interview that coming Monday. Sounds as though things went well. No more "sick days" for mid-week games.
Ok, yesterday was hectic as all hell. I'm going to be a process engineer and production supervisor for American Ingredients in Grandview. They make lactelates and di-monoglicerides (DM) for the food industry. Besides the supervisor stuff (about 30 employees on each shift), I'm going to be the go-to guy for imroving their two chemical processes. The lactelate process is three large batch tanks, then a flaker and packaging line. The DM process is nine distillation columns all linked together that I've got to improve the efficiency of. Basically improve the chemical separation percentages and decrease energy consumption. Talk about fun! (ok, I know, I'm a dork, but hey...) Last day in St. Louis should be 11/12. I'll have at least a week or two off and then start around Thanksgiving. Didn't I say something about being "in between jobs" during MLS Cup? I did my part, now it's the Wizards turn. Anyway, I'm looking forward to attending Golden Tee get togethers, kick arounds I'm hearing about, and whatever else goes on. See you guys tomorrow night.
Great to hear Ben. If anyone is wanting to get a kick around together over the winter, I second my willingness to freeze my butt off. Are you going to be living in Grandview as well?
Short term (until my condo in StL sells and I buy in KC) I'll be living with relatives in Raymore. When I look to buy I'm thinking of four areas. Condo downtown, Lee's Summit, Raymore or Overland Park/South JoCo.
Really?! Is this a private party or can anyone crash? I've got my brace so I'm finally running again. I need actual practice to get my skills (and wind) back!!
Where am I staying short term, or where am I looking to buy? Short term at my dad's in Hunter's Ridge (the new subdivisions on the south side of town). Buy, I'd look in the same general area. I'd like to find something relatively new, but I'm not sure I can for the price I can afford.
I don't know you either, but Congratulations! (I had to respond, basically because I understood every word of this and would also be drooling over the prospect of dynamic analysis and optimization of nine DCs in series!)
