    According to the "blub" below, Bayer and Jens Nowotny have reached a compromise to allow Nowotny to return to the team.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Einigung mit Nowotny

    Nowotny ist ab sofort wieder für die Lizenzmannschaft spielberechtigt. Darauf einigten sich Holzhäuser und Nowotnys Anwälte bei einem außergerichtligen Termin. Alle laufenden Klagen gegen Bayer sind eingestellt.

    I don't see where Nowotny is going to help you guys all that much.

    He's not the Nowotny of old. He's an "old Nowotny".

    It's good for their player numbers that he finishes the season for Bayer, but as an impartial outsider, I really feel this guy is done. I just don't think he's going to help much at all. :(

    Some things in this game are entirely predictable. It's not like he was recovering from an injury. He was kicked off the team. He's going to need time and match practice before regaining the form he had before and even then, he was pretty much f#cking done.

    Again, you aren't getting the "old Nowtony", you are getting an "older Nowotny".

    You didn't see anyone knocking down Bayer's door to make a deal for him when he was suspended, did you???

    I won't disagree with you on that. But I'd like to see Nowotny play before jumping to a probably very obvious conclusion.

    of course Nowotny is no more of of these "boys groups" players. He is older.
    But I would not call him "old Nowotny". He trained a lot, he is experienced player. I think he can bring some experience and stability into team again. He can be like role model for younger players. I think his presence will be important. By the way I met Nowotny few times in Leverkusen. He is very nice man. He is very well appreciated by younger Leverkusen players.

    I think we should wait until he plays and than to make any conclusion how he can contribute to team.

    Anyway I think he will be big help for our team.

    he was bad when he last came back, blowing his knee again hasn't made him better.

    he's just there to pick up the money.

    if he retired he would be leaving milions on the table.

    let him a chance...we should really talk about him after he playes....why to critize him now?..maybe we will see "new Notowny" when he is back..

    He is not back just to pick his money:)...but to play and be successful
