I sit him - guessing Portland is going to paint a target on his back larger than the one he's got on his front, and the refs aren't going to be inclined to call a whole lot. Is Metaiare's Green Card still being held prisoner in the Bastille?
Unfortunately, I don't want to go back to Pre-Fragapane on the left. lol Metanire is back in training. YEAHHH. Though, I thought DJ did alright in his absence. Not as dynamic, but held his own and had a good read/anticipation on those passes Seattle tried to release their wingers.
Frank Pain is, in fact, feeling the pain. Inside source tells me he will miss tonight’s game, as well as several others with an injury. The timetable given was five weeks. #MNUFC@mnufcinsider had first— Minnesota's Eleven (@sotaseleven) July 24, 2021
Robin Lod continues to be dangerous in the #MNUFC attack after a breakout 2020. Leading the team with four goals, all after the 80th minute and three of them have been game-winning goals. 🏹 https://t.co/LAenDJGqHI— Gabriela Lozada (@gabrielalozada) July 26, 2021
Back at #MNUFC training after a week also in Blaine at #3MOpen: Adrian Heath said Boxall & Fragapane will travel on 2-game trip leaving today but both unlikely to play vs LAFC tomorrow night 9:30 pm Central start time— Jerry Zgoda (@JerryZgoda) July 27, 2021 News: #MNUFC forward Ramon Abila is not expected to be included in #Loons road games vs. #LAFC and #VWFC this week. Wanchope trained with team in Blaine on Tuesday, but Adrian Heath citied a defensive focus for away matches, which doesn’t suit Abila’s more-offensive attributes.— Andy Greder (@andygreder) July 27, 2021

Hate to be that guy, and I see quite a few people saying "Give Hunou to adjust," but I am not sure how many games he is going to need, as he is getting smoked by MLS defenders. His acceleration is weak. Maybe it will change when Fragapane and Lod are healthy, but personally think he is a support forward at best.
The two things that (still) sting from Saturday: 1) The goal was scored by a guy we tried to get ourselves but couldn't afford. Cabral appears to be what we're hoping Hunou would have been. 2) We let Klinsmann's kid stone us.
The Klinsmann one hurt. But of course, it would be a Minnesota team that makes him look better than he is. :-|
Hate late Tuesday games. At least Boxy might be back.....and we may need him to play winger. The #MNUFC official injury report: as expected, Franco Fragapane (thigh), Niko Hansen (hamstring), and Robin Lod (calf) are all out. Jacori Hayes (hamstring) is also listed as out. Adrian Heath did note on Sat. that Michael Boxall is 100% available.— Jon Marthaler (@jmarthaler) August 17, 2021

Pretty incredible that Sporting KC & Minnesota have been Heineken™ Rivals since 1789. Pictured here are America's founding fathers establishing Article VIII of the US Constitutions which set up the 4th Round of the US Open Cup. pic.twitter.com/uQGwR2Qklp— Mike McGrew (@Zavcurrent) August 20, 2021
*bangs head This could be the worst game I have seen live. At least in the top three. Awful stuff!!!!
Hunou busts his tail out there, but I don't think he can hit the ocean from a rowboat. It should be an embarrassment for the front office in general and Adrian Heath in particular that the best striker in this club's MLS history remains the first striker in this club's MLS history - the guy Heath inherited from the NASL and then ran out of town.
He is a support forward at best. With no acceleration, he is never going to break free of just about any MLS defender. I hope when Fragapane gets back there is more connection. He has no connection whatsoever with Reynoso. Agreed on Heath. Embarrassing!

All have knocks. I’m told Juan Agudelo has now picked up an injury, but don’t know the severity atm. #MNUFC will be without Agudelo, Lod, Reynoso, Fragapane, Gregus, and potentially Jacori Hayes and Justin McMaster, who took a knock in training in training yesterday, per @_jacobschneider pic.twitter.com/S7SgAeWQKi— MNUFC Insider (@mnufcinsider) August 26, 2021 Not sure what the hell they are doing in training?
I guess more official. Your official #MNUFC injury report for tomorrow’s game against Houston is “the very end of a game of dodgeball.”OUT: Fragapane, Gregus, Hansen, Lod, McMaster, Reynoso, RosalesQUESTIONABLE: Agudelo— Jon Marthaler (@jmarthaler) August 27, 2021
