Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign People aren't going to learn the distinction. I think you'd better just re-sign yourself to that fact.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign If this is at attempt at grammatical irony, you should have used a smiley face.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign This is a pet peeve of mine too. Send me a PM and I'll correct any re-sign/resign errors that I don't find first.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign Thread started 7:00 pm Next error in forum: 7:52 pm. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3646537#post3646537 It's gonna be a long off-season.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign It's really quite unfortunate that the two are homonyms and (almost) antonyms as well. I was fooled earlier tonight by the news that Diego Gutierrez had "resigned"...
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign maybe he was just resigned to the fact that he had to re-sign since he had no other offers.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign I'm not sure how to interpret your comment. Perhaps you could write back, using some bold text, asterisks and at least one illustration you've drawn freehand and then scanned into your computer.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign this thread makes me want to resign from this forum, but I have re-signed for another year
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign I'm really temped to sticky this so that people can point out this mistake (as it is also a bit of a pet peeve of mine as well). Maybe just a PM to any of the Mods and we'll take care of it.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign I believe we should institute a moratorium on the declaration of pet peeves on BS.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign How often is biannually, once every two months or twice every month? Why do flammable and inflammable mean the same thing? If it's one foot and two feet, why isn't it one boot and two beets?
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign If the effect you were looking for from this thread was to affect the level of grammar on the boards, I think you'll be disappointed because you cannot effect such a change in that manner. ah ********.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign Are you trying to loose control over the English language? Lots of poster's on the US Mens forum make mistake's over their, to.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign There were a few grammatical errors you missed in your post. You actually used "to" correctly in one spot. This thread is going to give me a brain aneurysm.
Re: NOTE: re-sign and resign Irregardless, at least we're all in agreeance that it's impacting you. Later, COZ <-- wincing
