Without the pace and trickery of Mane our attack looked toothless, thank God for Him & thank God We're gonna be CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND YNWA.
Only two or three for me...every game from here forward is going to be the ‘cup final/biggest game of the year’ for opponents...and coming off a two week break is always tough...
I made my way to the pub downtown for the first time this season. What a frustrating first half--just one shot on goal, lots of poor passing (even along the ground, where the effect of the wind would have been lessened) and poor decisions. Things didn't get better in the second half until Mané came on. Brilliant goal for Mané, but overall a mediocre team performance. Still, I don't mean to sneer at a win. For the moment we're 25 points ahead of Manchester City, which is just ridiculous.
Mane's goal is his 100th in England. https://metro.co.uk/2020/02/15/sadi...l-english-football-12247055/?ito=newsnow-feed
Norwich are better than their record. I hope they stay up. I'd rather play them than Burnley. Fifteen more points to seal the title. One match at a time.
I think what we forget sometimes is that winning football matches is hard. Arsenal have 6 wins out of 25 games in this league. Chelsea sit in 4th place and have won less than 50% of their games. Liverpool have played 26, won 25, and drawn 1.
Lineup for Athletico? I think the Fabinho and Mane subs at the same time might tell the story. Was he giving the team for Athletico 30 minutes together? Alisson Trent Gomez Virgil Robertson Fabinho Henderson Keita Salah Firmino Mane
