After their promising start to the season (at least in style of play), I was semi-worried about our trip to Carrow Road. Now, I wouldn't be too concerned with any venue on planet earth with the way we're playing. Norwich... The Good -Beat Man Citeh at home. -Beat Everton away. -Drew Arsenal at home. -Drew Leicester on the road. -Drew Tottenham at home. The Bad -Lost to West Ham. -Lost to Villa 5-1 at home. -Lost to Watford at home. -Drew Arsenal at home. -Lost to Manure by a combined score of 7-1 over 2 legs.
When the players return from vacation, they will have a week of training. The main goal should be to get the players to peak against Athletico Madrid the following Tuesday. Norwich should just be a team we batter as a warmup.
Given that Norwich has beaten City - we should give them due respect at their place...but yes we should be winning this game
Norwich has 7 points from their last 5 games. everything says that will soon be ....erm .... 7 points from their last 6 games.
It should be good for a warm up after the break. We've had some of our worst games after the break so we'll need it. Then we can get serious about Atletico and Simeone.
Our first 3 league games back from break are against the bottom of the table. That’s half the points we need, regardless we can’t afford to over look them and just except to win. As @CB-West said, it’s one game at a time.
Milner and Mane could both feature in the bottom vs. top Premier League clash, having recovered from respective injury problems. Liverpool have been without Milner since he limped off in the FA Cup win over Everton, while Mane has been absent after picking up an injury in the 2-1 victory at Wolves.
I say let mane rest. We have plenty of options right now we need him for the long haul and for the CL, not the bottom of the table
Yeah, give him a run out. No reason to start him. I'd be surprised if he started considering Klopp's history of dealing with this stuff.
We want him sharp for Tuesday’s Champions League match, so I would definitely want him on the field (a sub at the least) against Norwich.
Liverpool are set to have a fully fit squad for the first time this season in time to face Norwich on Saturday.
We're jinxed folks. Lovren has had one of his customary "upbeat" interviews which has usually been a harbinger of disaster
Three teams fighting for their lives. An LFC scalp would make their whole season. No cakewalk this. Definitely one game at a time.
Funny really, I like Lovren and want him to do well. Then after a couple of good games he’ll go and pee on the carpet.
To be fair to him, it's the press and media running with a story which actually was about a Liverpool player talking to Liverpool fans at a Liverpool event. He didn't tell Sky Sports anything as many outlets seem to imply.
